In my opinion, TFT displays are much brighter than amoled displays and since this watch is designed for fitness tracking and GPS for outdoor workouts hence they decided to go with TFT.

TRex pro user... Battery backup is good and also sensors I'm using it for 1year 😊 I bought it for 8.5k on BBD... it worth for that price

No calling features is understandable as a fitness product. But given it's price, no-AMOLED is such a deal breaker. After all it's still a smart "WATCH" and always-on-display always makes sense. I'm enjoying using my cheaper GTR 2 (New Version) with AMOLED, calling receiving feature(it's convenient at times), and internal storage also.
