The DJI system looks like a good option as well. The Wireless Pro has some dumb design decisions as well so I'm not sure if it's worth the premium. Anyway, maybe just make sure that's the one for you

I let me use your video for all the friends who have VIRSO I already have the firmware that improves everything a lot, also eliminates the pause that is made by mistake when pressing the power button by mistake. The new version Firmware is 1.56

A lot of little things to consider once you've already had your hands on a pair. Instead of buying a pair, I think I will rather approach Godox in South Africa to see if they can sponsor a pair in exchange for a "local" review. Thanks for the insight!

Excellent review, thanks, the sound quality during outdoors distance test using hotshe is horrible, but sound samples are good (I assume mic built-in recording rather than hotshoe)

Thanks for your test, and I dig your concerns. However, do you think they're not even worth $120 price? I was looking at systems with a max budget of 150/180 bucks. Thanks!

Yeah, I mean, they can do the job as long as you don't expect too much or can work around some of the design/usability issues

Either way you are the only youtuber who could possibly explain Cine EI and S-Cinetone to me in a way that my tiny lil lizard brain understands... AND your shit is pretty funny! I was totally wondering if this mic was the solution to all my problems, but considering my problems this might not rank in the top ten now! now off i go to consume every single video of yours in 48 hours or less! (I jokes, I don't have that kind of attention span)

Other reviewers are also mentioning the mute button so I am puzzled: The receiver has a headphone port. Don't reviewers monitor the audio when recording it? Because if you are monitoring the audio then you will be aware that the mute button is on so just go there and switch it back on?

Wish you'd made this video before I bought this haha! Surely Godox can create a firmware update to allow us to disable that annoying mute button?!

Yeah, you’d think. But I have no idea if they’re really supporting these products with updates…

@@PhillipRPeck thought about wrapping a small elastic band underneath the button to prevent it from being pressed... but then realised that it's also the power button and you have to be able to press it to turn it on.

Got a speedy reply from Godox support: "We are sorry to hear the problem that you mentioned. According to your description, we are committed to assisting you by offering consultation with our experienced technicians. They said that the issue has been fed back to the relevant department and will be addressed by a firmware update. And if there is a firmware update on it, we will post it on the official website for customers to download at the first time." Maybe if more people also contact their support about the Mute button they might be more likely to address the issue sooner. I live in hope 🙏
