I think people are referring to zoom mic capability of the iPhone. the microphone is directed or more focused at a far distance if camera is being zoomed which is the reason it is weaker/softer/muffled

For me honor won this comparison... Need to say that in Germany honor 200 pro cost now 649€ with a 100w charger, headphones and a latest Gen smartwatch... And 512gb iPhone 15 cost about 500€ more with no goodies at all. Crazy!! Thanks for this comparison though!

Hi! How the Honor 200 pro performs in terms of cooling system? It does a good job especially when you watch a movie or something on KZfaq at the highest resolution? I'm currently using Oppo Reno 10 and becomes hotter enough when I watch a 4k HDR on the highest resolution. Do you think Honor 200 pro performs better from this point of view? Thanks!

In Hungary presale price is 550 euro for Pro model (with 3 year warranty). I preordered, I think its far from flagship prices. And that presale price include the original 100w Honor charger too. Very good deal from Honor 🎉

Honor 200 Pro mic quality is miles better than the Iphone15! The quality of the Honor's portrait mode is so good!!! the resolution, the edge detection is impressive. Note that IPHONE's portrait mode has a distance requirement for that Bokeh effect to kick in. If you get closer or further away from the subject the bokeh effect won't be visible, while in android phones you don't have that! hehe Selfie video and camera is better on the Iphone. Overall HONOR takes this one. Great review as always!

@@Carlduran in Germany iphone 15 pro max the 512 version is 1.559 Euro 💶, And the Honor 200 pro in Official Honor website is for 699 EUR and gift HONOR SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand and HONOR Band 9 Standard BT and HONOR Earbuds X6 White So this is midrange, upper midrange, but the price is cheaper than iPhone 15, s24, Xiaomi 14, these are not midrange This is midrange man, these are almost flagship. But 699 euro with all this benefits is midrange, 300-400 euro is not midrange it's best in the starter like Xiaomi 13T

in terms of video, I like the more contrasty look on the iPhone, handles exposures better as well I think, and looks flatter on that Honor because of it. iPhone portrait pretty much sucks in terms of look, feels a bit out of focus because of it's approach> Stills, depends, but the iPhone does sharpen way too much for me on some shots

How much better IP15 is in everything: details, no facial 'beautification', stabilization, AWB, exposure, black crush, colour balance, dynamic range and so much more is just sad. Honor is sometimes better by NOT over-saturing some primaries (esp. reds) and it does more smoothing (less visible noise, loss of details) with low light. That's about it. Yes, I like the Harcourt modes, but they are clearly processed. I can achieve the same in LR/PS with my own tasks. Honour/Huawei have still some catching up to do. And I'm NOT an iPhone user nor Apple fan.

I'm quite embarassed with my previous comment about Honor 200 Pro being so expensive with SD 8s Gen 3. The 8s Gen 3 actually has 3D or game performance similar to iPhone 15s because the iPhone throttles after several minutes. then again, average person wouldn't notice the photo/video quality differences and one could get a Redmi Turbo 3 for a fraction of the price of these two phones.

iphone 15 pro has problem with throttles? i have 14 pro and no problems in gaming at highest settings and phone is little cold-warm, so i did a good choice that i haven't bought ip 15 pro

If you definitely want an Honor, buy the Magic 5 Pro, otherwise the Oneplus 12, S23 Plus are much better buys than both smartphones in this video. 🙏🏽

Iphones always seem to have bad microphone quality in your reviews, contrary to when you really use them. I'm not saying that's intentional but muffled sound while video recording on Iphone (happened in your earlier comparissons with Iphone 15 PM), pretty strange. Honor does this portrait "magic" but these days, I think more consistent camera is what people are after.

I see many frames where the honor doesn't even come close to the iPhone 15 in terms of quality and sharpness. But perhaps that's to be expected from a Chinese-made phone with an inferior chip in light of many sanctions from the US

So sad to see apple did updates to sharpening the hell out of it's photos, it was pretty good before, still it's to yellow and green and disgusting flaring noone should pay to get. Looks like ill keep my Samsung s21 as long as it's usable, smartphone market has stagnated since years back.

Сan you please make a review of smartphone cameras in RAW? I don't know why nobody does that To find the most potential instead of looking at overdone and overprocessed jpeg's that photographers NEVER use. Oppo 7, Vivo 100, Pixel 8 Pro, iPhone, Samsung, bring all the big guns to the test some landscapes also in the evening where we can see how much details preserved from the original capture of the censor!

Main reason is there is too much room for bias if I was to edit one better than the other? And I cast a poll on Twitter and only 6% of people use pro mode and like 2% RAW. So making a RAW test that only 2% of people would be using isn’t worth it. However I do agree with you just most people never use Raw.

@@Techtabletsit is such a shame, even applying basic exposure will lead to a much better results in most cases...have you made these or similar tests yourself? I'm trying to find the best phone to upgrade to, but can't find one because all images are destroyed by in house post processing so all results become mixed up and inaccurate Would be really nice if you can make even a short most basic test one day even just a few shots from the balcony Setting exposure correctly and viewing at 100% without editing too much would be enough really

most phones would make a shitty raw in difficult lighting condition, the only reason phone photography has become decent in the last few years is thanks to the processing that you criticize. Of course photographers don't use that, but you know what photographers also don't do? Shoot with a small ass sensor and lens. Just try to take a shot in dimmer light at a slightly higher iso with a slightly longer exp time with a phone, no amount of Lightroom can fix that mess

In video apple is the best even low light, in photos vivo or pixel are the best... And that's it Samsung is balanced but nothing more and this honor is very good in photos but it needs still time to mature the sensors and mostly the software, in every photo it tends to "paint" where it can't gain enough information to sharpen the image
