Because Redmi 13c doesn't have good software optimisation overall (and none for social network apps). Try to go to Instagram settings and find upload quality and turn off data saver

Software is very bad on these Xiaomi models.. doesn't matter if it has 4gb 8gb or 32gb of ram... It will still lag because of poor optimisation of MIUI

Neither are not very good midrange phones, when you compare them to one's like Samsung, even their newest A series a34 or a54. Or especially the others like Hauwei. These should be more like 100-150$ budget phones.
