Yes, it can connect to one device via Bluetooth and another via USB, but during a meeting, only one will work. Both won't work simultaneously.

No, AM-W45 won't be able to connect without being plugged into a computer first. Once it is plugged in, you'll be able to select the Bluetooth options. This is great for office conferences and meetings, and that's actually how I use it too!
