🔥 None of these are tools I "need to see." However, it is interesting to see aluminum praised (over plastic) in one segment while also seeing plastic praised in another. Someone is apparently quite comfortable with contradictions when selling.

I’ve only used Bosch Mitre saws and they are phenomenal. I own mostly Makita, but I’d be willing to invest in that Bosch planner. Looks like a great tool.

Why not use the Makita planer then? FWIW I've got one and it's pretty great.
@jasonhull2163
@jasonhull2163 3 жыл бұрын
Justin F Just because I own 90% Makita does not mean I will not buy another brand from time to time. Sometimes Makita may not make as good of a certain tool than another brand. It makes no since to just use a tool because I own the name brand the most, unless it’s on a battery lineup then yes it would make since. I don’t always use cordless tools, however I do use cordless when it comes to drills, impact drivers, and circular saws.

Wonder why many / most of the wood working power tools prefer to demonstrate on what looks like softwood. The very light coloured woods shown anyhow are like butter to work with. Lets see some demos using tropical hardwoods for instance. Is it still that butter smooth ?

The guide arm is a POS, if you cut anything longer than the width of your saw, you will cut off the guide arm itself. Lol
@HepauDK
@HepauDK 3 жыл бұрын
The guide arm is supposed to show you where your blade will cut. The only reason the guide arm is adjustable, is because different saws have different withs. You set it up once, and then never again, unless you change to a different saw...

Bosch, the blue professional line in particular (G** product names), is one of the better quality brands. It is easily comparable to Makita and Dewalt. The green line (P** product names) is a cheaper DIY alternative, but still acceptable quality for light duty work at home. I'll admit thoug, that most the rest looks like quite poor quality.
