There's no other phone offering what Tecno Camon 20 Premier has, the value for money here is insanely high and that's why think it is the current king of high/premium midrange phones. Tecno finally did a huge leap forward, and what a leap! Improved HiOS, build quality with premium materials that other brands don't do, unusual camera setups with new camera techs and powerfull performances. Also, they finally heard people's desires after many years and promised Android updates. Definitely there's no other phone that costs below $400 with a similar set of cameras, an almost bezel-less AMOLED display, leather-like back panel and 512GB of internal storage by default, something reserved for top tier phones. I only wish they sell it here Brazil, but I doubt it will happen. 😭

I'm really impressed with tecno this year. my only issue is the os updates since they don't give a definite answer to and also the photo processing software it's not bad but not as good as the competition and a comparison to the a54 would very much be appreciated.

Tecno's spotty (actually non existent) update schedule means this phone might, but most likely won't, get android 14. The A54, heck the Galaxy A34 which costs ₦50K less (yes it's only 128 and not 256 gig) is a better purchase. Unless Tecno pulls off some great photography feats with the cameras like on the Phantom X2, if not, hard sell in the face of more reliable and significantly cheaper Samsung and Xiaomi options

If we're to go by their previous Camon series, 2 major OS upgrades. For this they've officially said it will get Android 14, and it's also on Google's Android 14 Beta program
