She very much bodied him Ted donkey Cruz read a statute in the Constitution and left out purposely, the promulgation or addended piece of the statute that prohibits discrimination of any protected class; race or religion included.

It was dumb for her to mention that the provision she read was enacted later... so it works as an afterthought. To say it trumps the provision Cruz read is incorrect. Both are in the current statute.

Moreover, serving in the interests of the government and as a government official, Yates was obligated to advise the WH in specific about her concern with the statute and offer a modification of the Executive Order in keeping with that provision. Instead, she unprofessionally refused to represent the government in court. She should have been fired. Be a professional and make your argument to the WH regarding how the statute should be changed to suit the statute- don't simply walk away.

Um yeah...she did say something lol. She mentioned that they were in the same statute which is what drove the discussion of the ban's legality. Although you might consider it an "afterthought", it is an addition to the constitution and can be included in thos conversation. Ted Cruz bringing this up was completely irrelevant as she has already been fired and replaced, and she was up there to discuss Flynn's connection to Russia. He was trying to get a cheap shot and failed miserably. This was not a hearing for her termination, and Ted Cruz's question did not need to be there.
