I used to say exactly what SJR stated, just prior to going to a commercial break, about "killing Bambi". I was born and raised in upstate NY...minutes away from the Adirondacks. Have any of you ever seen starving deer foraging for food in the woods in the middle of winter? Deer over-populate -- fact. I can only say that I have no issue with deer hunting...nor turkey hunting. These are two animals are normally consumed by the hunters and their families/friends. (Most hunters are professionals/well-skilled that are capable of a clean kill. Conversely, most beginning hunters are accompanied by professional/well-skilled hunters.

Hunting is legal, true free range meat & more environmentally friendly than even vegetarian when you factor in mono cropping, gmo etc..

I remember that hog kill, the anti hunters went on about that 5 second kill for years. Uncle Ted is a hoot. I've seen him 3 times the last was up close and personal in a 1000 capacity venue.
