All the anxieties and happinesses get a mention here, as do the ups and downs. This is normal. This is life. This is what it means to BE, in any era of any culture. Nicely inclusive!

More important than the words, the energy this woman transfer to me. Thanks you.

Wow just wow. Amazing work of art. This helps me calm down whenever I am stressed when I am listening to this I am able to cry and be at peace. I am very nervous and I relate to so many of these. This has helped me so much.

I am too literal to appreciate this. I hope it is moving for people. My favorite cup of soup is not the most popular, so when things don't appeal to me, it often means that they appeal to many other people instead.

It's great you can tap into your own inner self . It's not everyone's cuppa tea and so it shouldnt be . We are a diverse race each individually created in God's image .

No, I agree with you. All I can think about is how all the things she listed lack consciousness and emotions and thoughts. They can’t even feel pain. There is nothing to be tired of or scared of if you’re a snowflake or the sun. You just exist; you don’t live. Life is hardly a gift in my opinion

I'm also a very literal person, and I know that these things don't actually feel anything. However, I think the beauty of her message was that we human beings DO feel things. And we DO have consciousness and emotions and thoughts. And yes, pain and fear as well. We project our emotions and feelings on inanimate objects like the mountains and the sun, not as a reflection of those things, but as a reflection of ourselves. We see a snowflake and see ourselves trying to be perfect. We see the waves and the sand and see ourselves fighting against futility. We live, not because we exist, but because we ascribe meaning to the world and to our existence. That, I think, is the gift of being human.

Helo, i’m Dwi Isneniah and let me share my opinion about this video tedtalk from youtube chanel, the tittle of the video is “Naima Peniman : BEING HUMAN”. when I saw this video once, at first I felt that this video was a little confusing for me, and I ended up repeating it several times until I felt the energy conveyed by the woman in this video made me feel the transfer of energy not only from words. the words he put together but from every body movement he did had meaning, anxiety and happiness seemed to be conveyed neatly in this video. I really appreciate that and thankyou! ❤

This is for the poets who talk, About whether there is life in a rock, And whether their strife is part of the whole. If we can carry a holistic approach to include the Earth as one of our own, Then the sun becomes our son, And the rivers tell us where they want to run, Why lightning jumps the gun, And thunder shakes our soul.

Try not moving so much. Sit in nature and don't speak and don't move. Just watch. You move around too much. Nature might think something is wrong.

I wish I could appreciate this. But the things she listed off lack consciousness, don’t feel pain, cannot form thoughts. They simply exist, they do not live. Humans must wake up and face the pain and suffering of living every single day. The sun does not have to choose to rise, it just does. The fact humans have the choice whether or not to exist is complicated enough, in my opinion, let alone the hundreds of other things we deal with in a single lifetime.
