Tedder Cresent RAF Laarbruch

RAF Laarbruch in Germany was a post war air station for the Royal Air Force. Closing in 1999 the domestic areas are in different states of abandonment. Now used as a commercial airport the area is very secure preventing mass vandalism or theft, leaving abandonments in good condition. In this video we visit 10 Tedder Crescent.
This is the Married Quarter House where Exploring Dave's Girlfriend lived back when Dave was based at Laarbruch.

This brought back so many memories as it’s identical to my quarter which was in Goch, 88 Feld Strasse. I was at Laarbruch from 96-99. Best posting ever!

These videos bring back some great memories. Sad to see the poor state the former RAFG is now in. Was at Wildenrath for 4 years in the early 90's, went to school at JHQ Rheindahlen. Had a few friends that lived at Laarbruch. Good times, had a fantastic 4 years in germany from the ages of 13 to 17.

Hi, My Dad was on 4 SQN at Laarbruch from 1995-1999 when it closed! We lived in two different houses there as the first ones hot water pipe burst while we were in Garmisch for two weeks! One of the streets was Ellington Way, can’t remember the name of the other street we moved to!

Avocado green tile in the bathroom? I remember it being the latest thing in the 70s/ early 80s and was so excited to tile with it!

Hello mate I grew up in 5 Tedder Crescent not sure what number you were in but it brings back memories. I spent 8 years in that house 10 years in Laarbruch growing up from 2-12 years old.

I was stationed at Laarbruch and was one of the very last to leave in 1999. I lived with my family in nearby Weeze in 3 different houses! The RAF kept moving me as they handed back MQs. Lots of mates lived on camp probably very near the one you're in here. Great video lads BZ
