I remember the video Alex Burrows and Willie Desjardins did at this same restaurant almost 10 years ago. The food at New Town Bakery keeps drawing them back. Love their famous steamed buns.

New Town Bakery is a Vancouver gem. Their apple tarts are amazing (along with the rest of the food)

Only the apple tarts and steamed buns are great. The rest of the food is greasy and low quality compared to other Chinese restaurants in Vancouver/Richmond

Well, this is most excellent… My favourite current Canuck, from my favourite hockey country, eating at one of my favourite old haunts in Vancouver / Teddy is a beauty and Newtown is legendary (both the old one and the current one)

Definitely recommend going to New Town Bakery! Love the little spot, especially if you're just looking to grab some steam buns or other snacks on the go.
