At my husband's funeral in 2015 I burst out in the chorus of this song, it was so befitting. Teddy put words and music to the sentiments of our hearts. This was my dads favorite song, he said it reminded him of my mom. He didn’t like to admit it but he could sing, even sang in the church choir, but when he took me to school he would roll the windows down if this song ever came on and sing. He passed away and since then I listen to this song to feel close to him again. His favorite part was, “Said now 70/30, now 60/40, talkin’ bout a 50/50 love.” He LOVED Teddy.

I never would listen to or R&B I was always a Rock n Roll dude but wow... I am really enjoying my trip down this road. So far Teddy is one of favs. He is like a cheat code I don't think I have heard a song that I haven't like from him.
