Jaten Collin Dimsdale, known by his stage name ‪@TeddySwims‬ is an American singer-songwriter, known for blending genres including R&B, soul, country, and pop. Originally attracting fans through his cover performances on his KZfaq channel, Swims released his debut major label single in January 2020. He has since released four EPs as well as a debut album I've Tried Everything but Therapy in 2023.
‪@marenmorris‬ is an American singer-songwriter. Rooted in the country genre, her music also blends elements of pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Morris has won multiple accolades including a Grammy Award, an American Music Award and five Academy of Country Music Awards. Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Morris enjoyed singing as a child. She started publicly performing in her preteen years and toured throughout Texas.

Sidenote/piece of context: Maren Morrin just filed for divorce from her husband of 7 years (who she has kids with) back in September. Im guessing a lot of the power and emotion in this project together was channeled from the heavy relevant feelings she bringing to the song. She has a comment Teddy pinned on their video thanking him for doing this with her and for being a supportive friend through everything she has been going through as they made this, basically. ❤
