While Teddy Swims was here in Auckland earlier this year we got the 'dose' singer to try a few New Zealand delicacies.
Turns out you can take the man out of Georgia, but you can't take the Georgia out of the man. Teddy's Southern charm shines through in this clip, as the talented artist battles his way through Marmite while insisting he wouldn't say no if you served it up for dinner.

For all those in NZ who have never heard of a cheese roll you obviously live in the North Island coz im 43 and lived in NZ all my life and have had cheese rolls since I was a little kid. Most school fundraisers down here are selling cheese rolls by the dozen so it deserves to be in this video for sure.

Cheese rolls are quite iconic and even minus the cheese rolls I don't see how you could have posted your criticizing comment, this is one of the most accurate videos of iconic Kiwi foods and drinks I've ever seen. More than half the selection are quintessential Kiwi, lolly cake, L&P, raro, pineapple lumps and cookie time cookies. Could the menu designer be MORE Kiwi?

Marmite is British. Although Cadbury's was founded in Britain, its a multinational company with nations other than Britain having their versions of it. But this isn't so much about the brand or company as it is their product. A lot of people would categorize marmite as British and Vegemite as Australian. Despite this, this selection was dope. Well done Warners NZ

What are you talking about they are huge down south. You don't see them above timaru but oamaru down to bluff and all through central they are in every bakery and even some restaurants. We do them for raffles and everything in-between. Literally grew up on them. Where about in NZ are you from..

I love Lolly cake. I’ve never seen that beer though. In my half century of being a Kiwi. Sounds yucky. DB Export is an excellent NZ beer. And you have to nuke the cookie time till the chic chips are just melting. It’s a whole different cookie then.

Visitors always get the spreading of marmite wrong. It is a mere smear. A suggestion of a swipe. Almost homeopathic in preparation. In other words, it's not jam. You put a tiny amount on a knife and smear it over lashings of butter on toast. Delicious.
