Ateez's whole storyline is to make people able to feel emotion again, to be really free. In a society that regards perfection and efficiency as the standard, Ateez is breaking walls, telling people that its okay to feel chaotic, sad, happy, excited, confused. From there then we can move forward and grow. KINGS.

Same Teddy Same, I'm waaay outside a typical pop/kpop demographic, but love Ateez music and have done since discovering then in lockdown. Have travelled to see them in the UK twice and didn't feel at all out of place or uncomfortable. Your reactions to them are always genuine and entertaining. Thanks. 😊

Being free, I felt that. I am always the quiet one, I’m very shy to the core and I was so surprised with myself at the Ateez concert as I was just all out singing shouting basically freeing my inner fangirl. It was a revelation.

When I watched the second teaser for Bouncy, I was actually a little worried that I wouldn't like it because it was a lot slower than I was expecting it to be. When I watched the music video, I was soooooo glad that I liked it. The whole song has a slower vibe than I was expecting overall, but it didn't stop it from being a banger. Props to Ateez and Eden-ary for creating another masterpiece

Ateez have this effect on people. I had the opportunity to see them perform live twice and the energy is crazy. This year I even traveled alone to the concert. Something that I would have never done before as an introvert but their music and their energy on stage just gives you this amazing boost of confidence. Since joining the fandom in 2021 I have changed so much that people in my live notice it. Love these men and their music so much

I love that Ateez's music allows you to be more uninhibited and free yourself from your self-critical thoughts a bit more. It's hard for most of us to release the mask of "normalcy" that we wear to fit in, when inside we're wanting to run amok. As SKZ say in Maniac, we don't need to be "cosplaying as what society defines normal to be", but putting down that mask sure takes a lot of courage and practice. We're all in this together and what we see on the outside is rarely what is going on inside - who knows if everyone else in the group spent their time critiquing their own behaviour as well? 🥰

Chili peppers does sound like it would make this rock, but it's also slang, which is hilarious paired with the chorus. Older atiny have been laughing for months about it. Look at the translation for Seonghwa's rap too. With your head tilted just right it's questionable . I feel they pushed a few boundaries with this and it's catchy as hell. It's what made me such a big fan of the group.❤ There is so much happening you can't help but get hooked.

Ateez is EPIC! They’re live vocals,theatrical performances, powerful choreo and their dancing is clean and always elegant. Even this dystopian street fighting survival concept,their dance are more free and gritty,grimy… But somehow they kept it elegant still with a bit of silliness,goofiness,fun,cute,wholesome! Ateez is full of variety! They don’t look like kids hopping around with loud noises from technology’s auto tune and ballad so basic and mediocre, hopping all over on stage. Ateez is clean,edgy,exquisite,manly,charming and talented! They came swinging in this Bouncy song and mv and album!!!

It's so weird hearing you talk like that about ateez becouse I love them for the same reason, they somehow gave me more freedom in myself. Their music makes me feel like it's alright to just enjoy and not overthink every single detail of everything. That it's fine to just mindlessly enjoy things for the simple reason that they make you happy♡

I'm 44yo, married with kids (my oldest is actually about 2 weeks older than Captain), and when I first started listening to Korean music (it was basically OST stuff and a few songs beyond that because Spotify would suggest them) I was just mortified at the idea of telling people that I was listening to K-pop. My first MV was a random search for K-pop on YT, and I ended up on 'Answer'... when I say that song grabbed me and dropped me straight into their interdimensional wormhole, I'm not kidding. I fell in love right away, and within 3 songs I was ready to tell everyone who it was, why it was so great, etc. Now, I'm a baby ATINY in terms of duration (just since November) but a fully fledged one in terms of sheer devotion to these guys (I just have bills to pay and kids to feed, so I definitely don't spend a bunch on my obsession, lol). Even at my age, every song speaks to me somehow, and there hasn't been another group or artist that I can say that about except for maybe when I was a teenager. (That's not to say I don't enjoy other groups or soloists, just that ATEEZ is the only one that speaks into my heart with every song.)
