This was absolutely fantastic. So soothing on the ear. Making me nostalgic and teary-eyed. Grew up on a farm and had a wonderful childhood. Never lived in luxury but had the privilege of love. Turning 60 next month and longing for my identical twin sister who took her own life at 54. Nevertheless thanks for this music. Am living life and loving people for both of us. The song was written by the backup singer playing acoustic guitar. Mike Mattison. it became a crowd favorite the first time they played it it's all mood.

I was hoping your journey would bring you here. If you want to see a masterful show from them, watch their appearance at Crossroads - Guitar Festival .. hosted by Eric Clapton. Eric does these amazing guitar festivals every few years, and they are mind blowing. Derek Trucks actually has traveled and toured with Eric Clapton as one of his main guitarists. Thanks Brother, you just made my night! This is the first band that I’ve fallen in love with for decades. I could go on and on about them but I don’t have the time and you might not have the patience to listen to a very long rant about what makes them such a joy to experience. Thanks Saeed, boy it’s been a minute since I’ve listened to this. It’s so, so good. When that slide guitar kicks in, it leans into a bit of rock, but overall it feels very bluesy to me. And I love the vibe.

I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH ❣️ I think these are the prettiest cord changes I've ever heard. I just discovered these guys a couple years ago. I struck me how much it reminded me of Allman brothers. Them found out whole story. Duh... Lol

I don’t know if you know Led Zeppelin “When the Levee Breaks” but there is a version featuring John Paul Jones, the original bass player from Zeppelin and other players from around the world including Tedeschi and Trucks. Awesome tune and super video! Might be fun to do a double listening to the original first and then this one. Just an idea 💡. Another great reaction my friend. ✌️

TTB is my favorite band no one has ever heard of, but damn they are a group of some of the most talented musicians and artists and human beings ever walked this earth. Saw them in SA TX when they came into town, and blew me away with their talent and sound. Next stop for me is to see them in CO @ Red Rocks!!! New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins - Fat Tire is one of there popular beers.

Derek is a child prodigy- has been playing since he was 11 years old. His uncle, Butch Trucks was the drummer for the Allman Brothers band. Susan went to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, our best music school. I love how Derek just stands there and plays, no drama or histrionics- like he isn’t the best.

Adding to the fun facts. They met while Derek was playing with the Allman Brothers and Susan's band was the opening act. Love at first note. Would love to hear you react to more Tedeschi Trucks Band. I've been listening to them since before they met and combined bands. Seen them live 4 times. Best Jam Band ever, and collaborations with too many great musicians too list.

Eric Clapton has said Derek Trucks is like a reincarnated Duane Allman, who co-wrote "Whipping Post". A couple of links you should love. Interesting to hear you refer to their American sound. Derek is heavily influenced by Indian music. The opening riffs are a raga I believe that he blends into the beginnings of Duane Allman’s Little Martha. Their most recent project, I Am The Moon, was inspired by the 11th century Persian poem Layla and Majnun. Some really good stuff

Going to see them at the Santa Barbara CA Bowl on June 5. Sitting last row in top middle section. Had a hip replacement end of March so climbing to thento row is going to be a bit of a challenge. Love that top row and this band, so definitely worth the stair climbing challenge. This song always brings a few tears to my eyes! Beautiful song, hoping they play this song ! Thanks for the reaction video!
