Steve Potter is a Biomedical Engineering Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Steve Potter, Mike Chorost, and Ramez Naam in one video. I just died and went to science heaven. Steve is ending suffering and enhancing human life with his "applied neuroscience," an apt definition of neuroengineering.

Could you add to that list, a human network grid. A grid specifically designed to connect the memories if humans to achieve advanced learning, and understanding of the world. Politics, conferences, arguing, all eliminated with a human network.
