What is the definition of health? How do we measure it? In what way is it affected by economy and what does health statistics tell us about integration of minorities? These are some of the questions that Helena Nordenstedt will answer in this talk. She will also present a Global Health framework for the audience to better understand how health and economics go together.
Helena Nordenstedt is a physician and an Assistant Professor focusing on Global health. After high school studies Helena was the first woman to make it through the Swedish Army Language Institute, studying Russian, and has continued to line up impressive achievements throughout her career, starting at Stockholm School of Economics and ending up at Karolinska Institutet.
Helena is currently affiliated as a Public Educator to the Gapminder Foundation.

Thank you for providing our global community this informative talk on a this topic. Funny how that, now, three years later, in May 2020, during the Covid19 World Pandemic crisis, this topic, Minority health is strikingly relevant... Blessings for giving this imperative Tedtalk!

Hi. Can the data on the minorities be downloaded from sites. I have looked at the Gapminder tool and can find no way to extract this information myself - ie extract the minority bubble from the main population bubble. Also, I cannot see any data sets that represent this information that can be downloaded into csv or xlsx
