What happens when we escape the prison of high expectations and perfect personal performance? What happens when we are fueled by love and abundance instead of fear and scarcity? What happens when this is transferred to business? Carrie Bedingfield tells us how to create money and meaning in this TEDxSevenMileBeach talk.
Founder of 'meaningful work' business incubator "50th Generation", Carrie Bedingfield is an entrepreneur, business communication expert, investor and guest lecturer at Cambridge University Judge Business School.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Thank you, Carrie, for an inspiring talk. So glad to have met you! The paradigm of Love over fear is sweeping the world and it warms my heart to see it in operation everywhere! All the dark corners are being brought to the light, seen, embraced and loved and thereby transformed. My gratitude and appreciation to you for pushing through an old system that was no longer serving you and moving into the creation of a new way when everything we do serves the collective consciousness.

Carrie well done! A very worthwhile 15 minutes listening to your vision and without question a roadmap that deep down most of us aspire to. The Activator in you is what our business organizations search endlessly for, and your direction is aimed at those of us who seek to bring like minded people together to make a strong and self fulfilling success engine by supporting those around us who have not rebooted their Operating System ( love the analogy ). Your talk is inspiring. Thank you. Paul.

Strong stuff, communicated very directly. The perceptions expressed here do indeed articulate with those developed by Oliver Burkeman in 'Four thousand weeks'.

Great presentation Carrie ... and conclusions/outcomes. The only content i would question is the wording of the sentence about reprogramming the brain. I think you said "the mind we inherit". I think that we inherit (mostly) a brain and the mind gets programmed through upbringing and life experiences. I grew up with the "I'm no good" voices - it took me a long time to understand they were planted in my brain by my parents. "Reprogramming" happens automatically (with a fair bit of work!) when we understand the influences on the mind - I had to do it the hard way (by experience/reflection) but think Landmark Forum (or similar) would be a great (& easier) place to start this amazing journey of transformation. I hope this doesnt sound like a criticism because its not - its a comment for consideration of author and readers alike ☺. Good luck with Freedom 9.9 ... whose ultimate success is i would think is inevitable and the feedback on here.
