👏👏👏👏 - the difference between good and great is love. That the workplace can no longer afford to ignore feelings. That empathy should come to the front burner. That people leave because of bad bosses. That Hybrid work is more profitable. That happiness is the key to success and not the other way round. And that the future of work is people doing what they love! Gbam! 👏👏👏👏

Dan is right on the money as usual. This flexibility revolution is potentially great in so many ways...but we have human needs; autonomy, relationships, competency. Always comes back to feeling that we have those three things in good places. Bang on 15mins Dan says something that stopped me in my tracks because it's so true, so obvious and so hard to say. Great work as ever.

Hi Dan, I've eventually put some time aside to listen to your Ted Talk. Loved it, as I knew I would. The work we do with leaders is all about creating Resilient Leaders, leaders who have Clarity of Direction, Awareness (of self, others and environment), Leadership Presence and Resilient Decision Making, these are the elements of this amazing framework from which we build our programmes and coaching. This also links to OurFlock as it will give the Managers a greater understanding of how to make the best of this tool. It will create empathetic leaders, leaders who lead with understanding not fear, and leaders who empower others because they are confident in who they are and what they do, knowing why others chose to follow them. Some collaboration here me thinks!

As usual Dan really interesting and thought provoking talks. As someone trying to develop the strategy for the next generation of a SME their is some major thinking points about how we can create the right environment to allow our staff to develop and prosper, as a business who has had historically long service from employees it's going to be interesting to see if we can maintain that over the next few decades.

The world is changing and changing fast - no bad thing - but it means old ways of thinking are going to become redundant and quickly too. Glad you liked the talk.
