na man, finnish is extremely different from swedish and russian. It's just that their language uses pretty much all of the sounds that we do in spanish except for like the ñ, or güi in pingüino(probably others) but easy sounds to adapt to. Because so many phonetic similarities, it's SOO easy for ANY finn to speak spanish quite well. It's also quite easy to pronounce finnish words for spanish speakers, except they have some sounds we dont, like the finnish y or ö for example.

besides that, even their double consonant/vowel system is like our accent "ó" system, except we only use it for vowels, they use it for consonants as well. They do switch some letters from ours like, their J is our LL, their H is our J, etc. Very detailed thing about the finnish language is they pronounce things at the front of their mouth, hard to explain but that's usually what separates a native finn to a 2nd language fluent finnish speaker.

Oh my...I've never fallen in love but I think I've just fallen for his lovely voice. I'm central american, so I speak spanish, I don't know anything about Finland. But um. They speak spanish there? Finland's between Russia and Sweden isn't it...some one help me out here, please.

Its great to reply to a 8 year old comment but, yeah we can choose to study spanish in the middle school. I've studied spanish for two years now. Other popular B2 languages to choose from are german and french.

Hard language to learn for foreigners but so so beautiful, i'd say we have an advantage in terms of pronunciation goes, we do better than the swedes do in that department ;P.
