I used to like Caitlyn & Tyler, but past few season Caitlyn is just a debbie downer & I think she thrives on pity! She is definitely holding Tyler back & a marriage shouldn’t be that way. He tried his hardest I think it’s just time to move in. People grow differently & it’s tough to stay together since so young & grow together. I know I been with my now husband for 18 years. We met when I was 14 he was 15.. Now I’m 32 & we have 4 amazing kids & an amazing marriage! Although hard to grow together & respect each other’s changes, we made it through the hard now it’s just fun, & the bond we have no one in this world can take that place for each of us! Thank god we have been blessed. :)

I think a lot of their issues come from him being the strength of the family, the one holding it together dealing with his dad’s addiction and his sister’s childish bullshit and trying to be a dad. He knew Catelynn’s life story, all her pain and trauma, and he’s chosen to stay with her and actually love her. It’s hard to love someone with Catelynn’s diagnoses. I would know because I’m just like her....Any relationship has issues, all marriages struggle some time. You have to both be willing to get through it together. And they are. The world needs more positivity and less negativity.

When u get married you are suppose to grow together not separate. You deal with problems together and share the good together. You don't live separate lives and only live together when things are good.

She literally makes no effort to get better , she goes and takes off on her husband and child to seek "help" and misses classes to nap and watch movies only to return home and nap and watch movies and then claim she is so depressed and leave again . She is constantly invalidating Tyler and his feelings and always finds a way to switch the subject on herself and how she feels . I once rooted for her but she doesn't want to change and shouldn't be having another child considering the fact she cannot get her shit together and is failing to properly take care of the one she currently has custody of . There are tons of parents INCLUDING MYSELF that have depression and anxiety issues from childhood trauma and I wake my ass up and take care of my child and have never made her feel less than it is no excuse considering that she has the money and resources at her hands , I know MTV provides them with the best care , I dont feel badly for her one bit she needs to grow up.

Whenever they do spilt, I worry for Tyler cause we all know Catelynn is gonna be manipulative and make him the villain in all of this. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went as far as threatening to hurt herself.

I think that Tyler loves Cate very much and respects her but ultimately, he’s been dealing with this for so long, plus his own family issues and one can only take so much! He has never been able to focus on Ty.

He still looks about 18 and she looks like she's nearing 30 and steadily gaining more weight. I'm sure he gets hit on a lot on social media and what not, she can't stand that and instead of work on herself, she runs away to a retreat, leaves ty to deal with raising their kid alone. They seem miserably together.

Tyler just looks frustrated and probably feels like he is there for everyone but who is there for him. He just looks tired. Nova cute as a button. I believe they love each other but are tired of each other if that makes any sense.

Catelynn is definitely bringing everyone down. I suffer from PTSD and Anxiety and either her rehab stints aren't with right the people or she really is so used to being a victim she can't function any other way. I also agree she just has the same cycle over and over. Sit at home watch tv, cry a lot about stupid stuff, go to rehab, come back, and repeat. She either hasn't been diagnosed properly or isnt on the right meds. Also any good therapist would tell her to get out and do something every day even if it's only to take a walk, get the mail, go grocery shopping. But she keeps doing the same stuff over and over and then gets upset when the same stuff happens.

She need to step up and do her duties....he simply sick and tired of her leaving him with everything to do......get it together...and he not bad look either...stay woke girl

Mental illness is no joke especially when you had a traumatic childhood they both had a hard childhood. I give them both a lot of credit for being as strong as they both are hell they're better than most couples that been together for 25 years. This is a true power couple. The problem with today’s generation is that people like call it quits and give up on people way too soon. Cate and Ty are actually trying to grow as individuals so they can eventually continue to grow together. They haven’t called it quits, they’re working through their hardships and handling it really well, giving each other enough space while still being there for each other.

Just because they’ve known each other since they were young and had a baby (Carly!) doesn’t mean they are meant to be. Maybe it’s time for them to take a long break. She thinks having more kids is going to fix their marriage and make her feel better about placing Carly for adoption but I really think she needs to work on it. Clearly she’s not ok. Poor Tyler I feel bad for him!

Honestly every long term relationship goes through this. I been with my husband since high school going on 13 years together and there have been seasons in our lives where we just were just not vibing together, something was off, we were short with each other, some days I wanted to leave him and some days he wanted to leave. We werent “in love” with each other and sometimes we even hated each other and didn’t feel that attraction to one another anymore either, and this lasted like a couple years. We obliviously survived that weird time in our relationship because we are so much happier now. We stuck by each other’s side, appreciated the good days, talked worked thing out and communicating very well about our feelings. When I look in the past in those moments I would of ended our marriage because it felt like it went stale but thank God 🙏🏽 we worked things out because I can honestly say we are so much happier now! I feel like I love my husband even more, I’m so I love with him and everything he offers, we can’t keep our hands off one another and it’s like this awesome marriage that truly blossomed❤️ 3 kids together and still madly in love with one another.

I honestly have been watching teen Mom OG from the beginning and Kate and Ty are the most intellectual parents andseem to have good heads on their shoulders even though they go through Rocky time and bumpy roads that's just part of life and a relationship and marriage but I think they're doing a great job for what they know and they are trying to make it right. I feel bad saying this, but.. Cait totally let herself Go! She turned into the HEFFER that Tyler said he didn't want his wife to look like. He is NOT happy in their marriage. Now he is stuck... another baby on the way.. did they plan it? Tyler surely didn't!!! Cait pulled off a terrific plan to keep her husband around. Even though Nova already seems to be way too much for her to handle. If she didn't have Tyler, her Mother would be raising Nova. I sure hope she gets her shit together.. I would like to see them succeed in their marriage.

I wish Tyler and Caitlyn only the best. They have 2 beautiful daughters and another one on the way. I hope they continue to get the support and help they need to be the parents and couple they desire to be in life. Depression makes life hard on the individual and those living with them, it's even more difficult when both people are struggling with depression. It's so easy to lose sight and let go of those ambitions and goals you have. I'm happy to see them work through their ups and downs and not give up on each other.

Another Big thing is they have never started their lives. Date other people, go to college or vocational school, find a career, travel. They have been stuck on being teen parents instead of becoming productive ADULTS! This is not healthy & doesn’t promote growth. They need to go their own ways & work on themselves individually.

I think that she has never been able to cope with the adoption of Carly. I do understand that it is painful and very difficult to overcome and accept but she does have a partner who has supported her and carried her through life not to mention she has Nova to live for. I don’t think that she understands the impact that she has on her family’s life or else she would make a commitment to be stronger for not only herself but for her family.

I haven’t kept up with the show in some time? Can someone please tell me: When Cait told Tyler she was pregnant (by way of having Nova come out in the “I’m a big sister T-shirt”) is that the miscarriage she is referring to? And wasn’t that baby a girl too? And wasn’t Tyler actually the one disappointed it was a girl at that gender reveal party?

Riddle me this: If you have been miserable in your marriage for at least the past 2 years. Seen your significant other struggle bad with depression and anxiety, and Post-Pardum after your 2nd child was born. She hasnt really been much of a mother to that child, and has been spontaneously going off to rehab for months at a time to get away, and doesnt really do the program. Why? Oh why? would you ever even consider getting her pregnant again??
