Porcupine needles are actually poisonous and can cause welts to slowly let the needles sink in and kill you, so I’m glad he didn’t get that many and pulled them out as quickly as they did

Porcupine quills don’t carry poison. But they do have barbs that dig deeper and deeper. Unless removed (which can be very painful), over time they can cripple or even kill an attacker…

MWDs are tough K9s, they have been through a hail of lead, mortar fire, road bombs, shrapnel from grenades, bombs, and exploding vehicles, debris from collateral damage, even blade wounds from enemy knives, though he admits he walked through the pain while being sarcastic about it. this dog is a true soldier. any soldier in the military who worked with these K9 soldier are more than happy to fight besides them as equals.

Porcupines can be tamed, they say, so they will keep their quills down and even be safely petted. But this is obviously at the porcupine's comfort level.

Just found this channel. So glad I did! Subscribed. By the way, porcupine quills should have the ends cut off before they are removed. This takes away all of the pressure and allows the quills to be removed without pain. To remove them without first cutting off the ends is pure torture.
