Ah, now your talking. ‘Coming Back To Life’ in my opinion is one of Floyd’s best ever songs. So much emotion in this song!

The most under rated and under played Floyd song and one of my favourites. Another written by Polly (D.G.'s wife) I believe.

It's really nice to see the younger generation appreciating Pink Floyd. I was in my 30's before I paid much attention to them. Now I listen to them literally every day.

I started paying attention to Pink Floyd in 1985 when I was 8. Haven't stopped listening yet. Best Band out there. I seen them in 94 in Dallas TX, it was amazing.

Yes there's a lot of people at that concert at Earl's Court in London. It's seats approximately 19,000 people and it sold out 15 nights in a row which is well over a quarter of a million people going to one venue to see one group/band!!!

Hands down one of the best live albums ever! I was at this concert in 94 twice...once at Yankee Stadium and once at Giants Stadium. Incredible shows. Exactly this, what youre seeing here. Just, unreal. And it was the year I turned 21, and my FIRST CONCERT EVER! Unreal would be an understatement. Glad youre enjoying PF as much as we all love them!

Nice reaction Silas, this underlines what an impressive vocalist David Gilmour is as well as the GOAT on guitar, two more musts from Pulse are Keep on Talking and High Hopes. Yes I was at the London leg of the Division Bell tour that became Pulse they took footage from various concerts in the tour and created Pulse. It cost them a fortune to finance initially because as well as paying for all the effects, venues transport, addition musicians, they also had to buy Roger Waters out of his share of the royalties, fortunately Nick Mason was a collector of Ferrari's, and one of his cars he bought for $65,000, was worth $25m so he put his car up for collateral against a loan for the band, needless to say the tour ticket sales, DVD, CD, Vinyl and Blu Ray sales have repaid the loan and made David, Rick and Nick very wealthy. Nick's Ferrari is now worth an estimated $35m and his personal wealth at over $180m, so he's done okay at what he calls "twiddling sticks".

I'm picking nits here, but I believe Nick's GTO helped finance the "AMLOR" tour, which was before the Division Bell tour from which Pulse was birthed

Welcome back to The Floyd!!! I had tickets to this concert in Atlanta. We lived 4 hours away and would have had to miss one night of work. I let my bunghole of a boss scare me into NOT going... To this day I kick myself in the butt daily for not just quitting (which I ended up doing 6 weeks later). I did get a nice consolation prize getting to see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets perform live last October. Check out Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets performing "Set the Controls For the Heart of the Sun" live. Nick allows free filming of his concerts so I think there would not be any copyright issues using their official video... Roger Waters has publically stated that Nick and Company perform this song BETTER then Pink Floyd ever did...

An instrumental artist you might like is Mike Oldfield starting with Tubular Bells. My college had a music listening room with couches and headphones. Many Friday afternoons we would listen to Floyd, Zeppellin, Kansas, Styx, Yes, and Oldfield’s stuff. Great channel man, great member berries.

Love and warm regards from Cologne Germany. I´ve saw this Concert 1994 in Rome, Italy. Here any facts: The concerts of the "P.U.L.S.E. TOUR" featured even more special effects ( On the day of the concerts, the airspace above the respective city was closed for several hours for safety reasons due to the laser show !!! ) than the previous tour of even other bands and artist tours ever and it was in 1994, including two custom designed airships. They also used an Antonov military cargo plane plus 2 x Cargo Boeing 747s. 3 seperate stages leapfrogged around North America and Europe, each of that stages 180 feet (55 m) long and featuring a 130 foot (40 m) arch resembling the Hollywood Bowl venue. One stage in use, one being dismantled from the previous venue and one being set up at the next. They need 3-4 days to building on stage up 3 days for re-building.When Pink Floyd performed this in the US, they traveled with 4 48' military grade mobile generators. 1994 there wasn't a stadium built with enough electrical input to run the Pink Floyd show. That was also new for the American´s. The US Army said: "Ok, that´s cool project and makeable for us - let´s do it for the american audience - But we are always there! Is that understood and clear!?" - Answer Gilmour: "Yes Sir it is clear, thanks a lot, then let´s go. You will not regret it". I think the american audience don´t regret it. That's what happens when you forget to give a budget figure to your lighting effects designer. That sound comes from a 220,000 watt sound system. The glitter ball from "Comfortably Numb" was over 15ft (4,6 m) in diameter, and the lasers were a new experimental design, and Pink Floyd cornered the entire world's supply at the time. All in all, the tour required 700 tons of steel carried by 53 articulated trucks, a crew of 161 people and an initial investment of US$ 4 million plus US$ 25 million of running costs just to stage. This tour played to 5.5 million people in 68 cities; each concert gathered an average audience of more then 45,000. In summary, it is the most elaborate live tour project of all times to date. The planning alone took 3 years. The tour (not the planning) was sponsored by Volkswagen.
