The reason they called Deathstroke “Slade” in the original Teen Titans (2004) show is because they weren’t allowed to use the name due to it being a kids show. He’s the main villain of the show and Robin’s arch nemesis.

Dead pool was originally a copy of Deathstroke, thus naming him Wade Wilson as a nod to Deathstroke (Slade Wilson). Deathstroke as bad ass as he is, he’s considered the best assassin in comics, is actually much more of a Teen Titans villain than a Batman one, he’s listed in Night Wings Rogue gallery for example. Anyway, I’m sure you knew all this but just saying, Dead Pool was modelled after him and he is more of a teen titans villain than a Batman one…

@@warrionusprime2992 I love the first 4 seasons of the OG show as well. It should have ended after the 3 parter “The End”. I didn’t care for season 5. But for TT Go, I love the humor and metaness. I don’t think it’s fair to compare the 2 shows at all, just because it’s the same cast. I can’t imagine TT Go with any other cast. They are completely different shows, and great in their own ways. It’s like Marvel vs DC, there’s room to love both. It’s not an either/or.

The four animals that you were confused about on the set was a reference to the fact in the show, a new animal appears on the rock at the beginning of every episode and the animal changes every season. Those were the animals that had appeared in each season at the time the movie was made

Teen Titans Go The Movies is AMAZING. DC doesn't miss when it goes comedy. I also highly recommend Teen Titans Go Vs Teen Titans, the second movie - yes, that's what the mid-credits scene is referring to! No spoilers, but keep in mind when you watch it... it released the same time as Avengers Endgame (and they didn't know what Endgame was about while making it).

It tickles me so much to see not only these 2 reacting enjoy the film, but a lot of people in the comments section not only speaking highly of the film, but also the series as well. I saw the series premiere the day it came out and have been a fan ever since and caught up with the 386 episodes they've released. After seeing all the hate this series got back in Season 1 and now, 10 years later, people are speaking about it in high regard, including Warner Animation's President and the co-CEO of DC Entertainment. It really pleases me.

A show that is an all-time classic you guys have to watch is Batman the Brave and the Bold. That show is really incredible and a perfect representation of the world of comic books by taking a more Golden Age and Silver Age approach as well as incorporating elements from all eras of comics and is a perfect way for people to be introduced to the extended world of DC.

This movie is interesting in that it's what I had expected of TTG once I understood it wasn't a sequel to the previous show. This movie had what I would want to watch in TTG, plot, continuity and effort. The follow-up movie is good as well. Not too much, not too little. Fun fact, Superman being voiced by Nick Cage isn't the only reference regarding the Man of Steel. Him saying "somebody save me" is a very blink and you'll miss it reference to the series Smallville where we followed Clark through high school up to becoming Superman, as "Somebody Save Me" is the theme song.

There was a point a few years ago where they did a bunch of DC meets Looney Tunes comics, stuff like Martian Manhunter and Marvin the Martian, Lobo and Road Runner, Joker and Daffy. The Batman Elmer Fudd one was really fun. I think there was a second volume as well. So, there is precedent, and they could make a movie of it if they wanted to.
