Deathstroke and Slade are the same character. I think they made him Slade in Teen Titans because it's a kids show. Beast Boy is my favorite character.

Yes, the writers in the orginal Teen Titans Cartoon thought Deathstroke sounded too scary so they did Slade since Deathstroke is Slade Wilson.

Slade is Deathstroke. His real name is Slade Wilson. I’m not sure why they used Slade instead of Deathstroke. More kid friendly? 🤔 not sure
