Every time I hear this song it gives me nostalgia for a life I never even had. The perfect encapsulation of “puppy love”. Also I was a teenager when this dropped so it does give me flashbacks of summer time with my best friends in Ireland.

I was one of those who took part in the filming of the video for the song fireworks. Katy was very nice, I met her, she even told me that she liked my smiley badge that I had on my jacket. The next day she waved at me. It was a beautiful experience and every song by her reminds me of that. 🌹🌹🌹

Your voice sells the passion that this song is written about, that desire that can't be put into words. What ever that desire is, we have felt it since the start of evolution and I think this cover would get even monkeys in the mood for some fun time. You nailed this like you always do.
