Күн бұрынThis video is not quite a tutorial, because I am too dumb to understand what the specifics are of each parameter on the OP-1. Instead, I walk you through each parameter of each synth engine, and explain what Teenage Engineering claims each parameter is. I hope it is helpful for those interesting in purchasing an OP-1 or inspiration for current owners to explore what they have. Let me know if you have any more specific or better info in the comments!

Hey Greg! When you're shaping each of these individual synth engines, are you just selecting a synth preset and then messing around with it, or is it possible to mess around with each synth engine at its completely base settings?

Listonosh You have to load the engines as a preset, but you can turn the LFO and Effects pages off. After I do that, I set the envelope to instant attack and release, set the portamento off and set the synth to Mono or Poly. If you wanted, you could manually adjust to base settings, save the patch as a preset and then rename it by plugging your OP-1 into the computer. You could make a folder in your OP-1 as well which could contain one initial patch of each synth. Hope this helps!

Gregonater can’t you click the synth button without shift to load it without a preset? Or is that just my imagination?

Dr. Wave has GOT to be glitched visually. It doesn't seem intentional or helpful to have it display the way it does.
