First, I thought Mouser as Splinter was the best possible thing. Then, I thought Luigi as Casey Jones was even more perfect. But then Super Plunger got knocked into that STUPID WATER LEVEL from the NES original, and I knew: THIS was something they could not top. Bravo, Mr. Farr. Bra-vo!

I know I'm _13 years_ late, but lemme just say this: As someone who grew up with BOTH TMNT and Super Mario, TMNT and Super Mario are easily in my top 5 favorite franchises ever made, so the fact that they were mashed into one video, is totally amazing. Luigi as Casey Jones; epic. Daisy as April; creative. Mouser as Splinter; amazing. But MARIO as SHREDDER; totally epic, bro. This video is a 10/10 for me.

If you look at the state signs at 0:51 the street signs say "Eastman RD" and "Laird BLVD" as a reference to the creators of the original comics.

That frame was just chock full of fun references and throwbacks to the first live action movie. The two graffiti spots in the background "Feldman was here" and "Judith 4Ever" are references to Corey Feldman (the voice of Donatello in the 1990 movie) and Judith Hoag (April O'Neil in the same movie). The street signs themselves are a reference to a line from that movie when one of the thugs tells the police chief to go to the warehouse at the corner of Eastman and Laird to get to the bottom of their investigation, which as you said, are also the last names of the creators of the comics.

How did I not catch that the first few times I've seen the movie?!? o_0 I think the line/scene went "Check the East Warehouse on Lairdman Island, you'll get your answers there" Fun Fact: The actor that said that line was Sam Rockwell, who played Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2 :D

The attention to detail. Mario Party board while riding in the turtle van, Leonardo being the leader also making him a paratroopa, so awesome. The art work is beautiful, so much talent.

I still love how well you're able to blend the two things you pick together so well. When I saw something I immediately knew which two things they were and the mash-ups just seem so apparent once I've seen them. Also, the Statue of Liberty/Samus Aran (Samus of Liberty?) is still a nice touch.

Incredible stuff. From start to finish, the colors, composition, animation and sound design are absolutely wonderful. Some great fanservice, too. Midbus and Reznor as Bebop and Rocksteady is pure genius, but I'm baffled as to why you didn't use the Koopa Bros. Did you just want the colors to match the real Ninja Turtles?

+Brandon Gold I knew it was Mario. Who wouldn't be fighting the koopas and other enemies besides Luigi? +Grant Strader just a pig. There is a character that resembles a pig or warthog but his skin and body shape are different. There are no rhinos in the Mario franchise though despite a kart named Rambi Rider in Mario Kart DS.

Apple Woods 1. It's spelled Krang. Kraangs are the ones in the recent cartoon. 2. Krang is the mechanical body, Brain is the thing inside it. Brain is not an utrom (except in the IDW comics, and the 2003 cartoon has an utrom named after Krang), but he was based on the ones in the mirage comics.
