I love the irony of Baxter Stockman using a flyswatter as a melee weapon.

I have to say though, having the Fly Baxter as a boss is a nice touch. Too bad that wasn't used in the arcade version.

If Fly Baxter was in the arcade version, I bet his introduction quote would be "Now, turtles! Revenge will be mine!"

I like Baxter in his human form better, and that was the only version that appeared in the arcade. Bebop and Rocksteady together is in place of this fight with Baxter the Fly in the arcade.

As far as I remember, the original Boss was Bebop & Rocksteady.

Do you see his shadow? Stay near it. He can't hit you if you are near his shadow. The battle is a piece of cake if you do that

Better than facing the same bosses from the first two levels again at the same time at least.

having played this guy again, the easiest way to beat him is to stand right below him. then he can't hit you. you can hit him by pressing A+B right after he shoots

The NTSC version of this game was plastered with Pizza Hut advertising (the two signs that fall down in the second level - even inside April's apartment building!). A smart marketing move by them - I wonder if they ever heard of the weird taste in pizza the turtles have.

In the arcade version you fight Bebop and Rocksteady at the same time, instead of Baxter.

i had to use Game Genie to beat these games, infinite lives, enemys die in one hit(except bosses)

Most likely. Back when I was a kid, the most common place you'd find a TMNT Arcade game machine was at the local Pizza Hut.

Does the fly Baxter Stockman appear in the arcade version of this game or do you fight a different boss instead of him?

And that was very lazy of Konami to make you fight Bebop and Rocksteady again at the same time in the arcade version. They could have easily put in the Fugitoid or a Triceraton for a boss in the arcade version.

there isn't much variety in beating the bosses, especially with Stockman's attack pattern. Unless you're some thrillseeker who aims to kill the bosses with 3 life or less.

Did Baxter mutate into a fly between the two levels?
