As someone who doesn't mine the non historic camo's (so far), I've always wondered what you would see instead of historic camo. Does the game just show some random historic camo, the same one every time, or just the tank without any camo at all? Thanks.

@@neilwilliams4684 Yep. The Game simply shows a stock Tank and only camo that is historic. I really like that feature especially when I started world of Tanks again after a 3 year break. The Historic feature was turned off somehow and when I saw the Kpz 07 I believe it was all I always saw was a futuristic tank with a railgun. I tought: "Wtf is this Thing?"😂. Well I turned my Historic only Feature back on and see how the Tanks look normally.

Think the fact that you can use them if you want, don't have to if you don't means that this will be a fun optional style. At least it will be unique! Loving the fact that the 6x unique commanders are ALL in the base rewards and not in the improved pass. The fact that the newer players all have the option to get these without a paywall concern is absolutely fantastic. Believe this is the best "value" in base rewards compared to all previous BP seasons. And the 15 tokens in the base rewards, reinforces the value... and optionality to play T4/T5 as well ALSO means this is a huge and positive advantage for newer players.

Best thing about the styles.....you can choose not to use them. Same with the commanders. Only thing interesting to me are the two new tanks for tokens. Couldn't care less about this kids stuff. Put them in Fortnite and leave us be!

TMNT was never really my kind of thing, but I can really appreciate the quality of the voice acting on this one, as well as the massive amount of content AND the fact that most of it is accessible to free-to-play players. I probably won't be using the styles for myself, but I do like an original voice line. I kinda wish though that some of the crew voice lines were set up like the Pumpkin Bash crew was - I liked the way that we could set up crews with multiple unique vocals rather than just the commander. We've had Dune, Vinnie, Snatch, more Dune, and now TMNT, all in under 6 months. While I like it overall, I kinda wonder if it is too much, and hope it doesn't end up costing WG more than they predict to earn.

Funnily enough, I am not one who appreciates cartoon aesthetics in my war games but I would toggle this on for a bit just to have some fun. Gg war gaming.

Allowing low tier players to get a high tier tank through tokens is and always has been a terrible idea.

Doubt you cant get enough BP points just by grinding tier 4s and 5s. And likely the point cap will be even lower than that on tier 6s (100), so you'd need to have like every tier 4 and 5 tank, and even then Im not sure the points will suffice. Plus, mid- and low tiers are just so much more interesting to play than high tiers where all the whales are.

This is pretty cool. I think there’s a mark missed with no Turtle or Tortoise skins but whatever. The BP rewards seem great for the unimproved pass. Looks fun! I just hope the BP points for tiers 4/5 are low so the OP tanks aren’t played too much for higher tiered players.

They really sound good and the tier 4+ BP is really nice! I have a bit of mixed feelings about those tank styles though. They really seem over the top but I guess they will make the game less serios and more fun so... here's to that!
