The turtles learning everything from movies feels like a reflection on a generation that learns how to do everything from KZfaq.

The first film not having the most known big bad villain in it but teasing it at the end reminded of the ending of “Batman Begins” with the Joker card at the end. Part of the reason why I liked this film, it was refreshing not to have the Shredder front and center for once.

This movie reference so many stuff from movies and tv shows. So far Mario, ATSV, and TMNT are the best animated movies this year.

This movie actually exceeded my expectations I absolutely loved it. I’m 17 and dealing with a lot of stuff rn but watching this I felt like I was 10 again no stress or anything I forgot all my problems it was the best.

I'm glad this franchise continues to renew itself. I loved it as a kid, and while I haven't been involved in it anywhere near as much as I used to, I see it as great that newer generations get to have fun with it as I did.

I this is the only movie I’ve watched where I didn’t die from cringe of them saying sus, rizz or saying popular culture references and just that alone gives this movie a 10/10

I think Splinter being a regular rat led to him being more of a father than previous iterations, which led to some of my favorite moments. BUT, excluding the Hamato Yoshi backstory does feel like the movie is missing an integral piece of the TMNT DNA

In the sequel I could see them using the other mutants in the sewer as an example of how ruthless shredder is. As in he kills a few of them which then causes Beebop and Rocksteady to leave but also puts pressure on the turtles relationship

I think a sequel to Batman vs TMNT should be a definite. The first one was so good! Lots of room to expand!

I really hope that in a sequel that shredder can find a way to manipulate the other mutants like bebop and rocksteady because that could show that shredder will be more than just a henchman

I expect Shredder to be the one who betrays The Krang this time, like a swapped version of what happened in the Michael Bay movie.

I loved this movie. I wish that some of the villains were expanded on a bit more and wish the turtles origins were slightly different but other than that I don’t have complaints besides minor nitpicks. I loved all the anime references and I hope Casey Jones is in the sequel because I feel his character could work really well with the direction the first one went.

As much as I did love this movie as a newer TMNT fan some of the mutants like Mondo Gecko, Wingnut, and RAY FILLLEEETT I feel like we’re charming enough to stay as good guys but having Bebop, Rocksteady, and Leatherhead good just felt out of character like they should remain bad guys. Hell Bebop still has the turtle shell shoulder pads which always signified that he was a turtle hunter

My biggest issue with this film is the origin. I wish they went the 87 origin but I would have been fine with the 84 origin. And if they wanted they could have done what they did in the film, but he was originally a pet but after his master death he became a normal street rat who was a martial arts master and do that not the book

Dude, I absolutely love this movie. It may be my new favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. I love how they were finally excepted into society are finally able to go to school that’s something we’ve never seen before

I loved TMNT 2007, the Leo vs Raphael fight was one of the best hand to hand animated fights I’ve seen. I loved how the turtles were actually strong unlike the new one where they are just really scronny.

I actually liked how they learned Ninjitsu from KZfaq. It's sure as hell of a lot better than learning from a Japanese book. But my favorite style of origin was from the 2012 series.

I love that shredder is like a bounty hunter like Kraven the hunter it just feels more terrifying and intimidating against someone who actually has better ninja fighting skills sorta like avengers vs thanos 🤩❤️

I think a way they can do Shredder is make it where he already hates the Turtles because Shredder has a disfigured face, and was ridiculed for it as kid, meanwhile the turtles are monsters but are treated like normal people

The most insane thing about this movie is the fact that there’s an actual kill count. Splinter legit kills a guy. What I think they could do with the villains in movie 2 is being in someone like Tiger Claw or Karai. Maybe Shredder doesn’t work for the Utrom. Maybe he’s a bounty hunter they know of or something like that? Idk. Also, what if some of the mutants turn on the Turtles for a “better life” that shredder could promise them.

Loved the movie. There was some scenes I didn’t care for or story setup, rocksteady and Beebop living with the turtles now (they were main villains I watched growing up lol). Splinter freeing the kids from being milked, was a great sequence (reminded me of Jackie Chan fighting in his old movies, since he voiced splinter)

Shini joined the Foot Clan when she was 10 years old and on her first day she met Karai. They were assigned to be sparring partners and that lead to them eventually becoming best friends.

I feel once shredder is involved they will turn to shredder’s side and BeepBop & Rocksteady are at odds because they have a relationship with the turtles but now they are against them due to personal differences that sides them with Shredder

Imagine this: Bebop & Rocksteady start to have resentment towards the Turtles. The Turtles are above ground, enjoying there lives among humans, that Bebop & Rocksteady leave the lair @ nite & have a run in with the Shredder. The Shredder promises them a better life and they kidnap Splinter when the Turtles are out 🤔

This movie was so amazing and awesome! That Post Credit Scene was so crazy! 👍

Ngl i dont think shredder is gonna be treated like a henchman. I think hes gonna be treated like a hitman in a way where shredder is given a task to get the turtles with his army the footclan. Kinda like how they treated dr. Eggman in the first sonic movie

I have been a tmnt for a long time and I see different takes of the characters but this movie right here definitely had me emotional in a good way I enjoy the movie and can't wait to see more tmnt stuff, especially Mutant Mayhem

It would be funny if they do a huge time jump and the turtles are adults and having regular jobs. Like imagine Leonardo working in a small office struggling to fit into it with his shell always being in the way 😂😂

I grew up watching the tmnt cartoon show & seeing that we’ll possibly have krang AND the shredder in the sequel ? That sounds so awesome!

Hope my favorite Hockey masked vigilante is in the sequel, he’s literally me. But overall the film is a 9.5/10

I hope shredder plays along with Cynthia and acts like her sidekick until he shows his true colors and takes over.

I feel like the second movie is gonna have the turtles realize that as much as they want too a regular life isn’t something they can have

I saw this movie and I loved the teenager aspect because I’m a teenager and I can relate.

The *only* thing I hate about the movie is the Hamato Yoshi erasure once again and the way they learn ninjutsu, like that's two big film iterations in a row where Splinter has no ties to him. Like I understand why he couldn't be Yoshi here since this Splinter hates and fears and doesn't understand humans, but why couldn't Splinter be Yoshi's pet? It wouldn't be too big of a deal if the Turtles weren't going up against *real* ninjas constantly, and I guess there's no other ninjas in this movie (unlike the Bay movies) so it doesn't matter, but like someone like Shredder, who's teased, going up against a kid who learned to use swords on KZfaq is a joke. (It would definitely add to Splinter's loneliness and fear of other people, and it makes it so much more emotional when the first people he's met since his master's death who don't hate him, who love him, are his new son's. BUT, then again, he could've never told his son's about Yoshi so they never questioned him about humans being evil and stuff; and the KZfaq and movie stuff was just a clever trick to get his son's invested in their learning but truthfully he knew it already because his former owner was a ninja.

I started my love of the turtles in 87 with cartoon. Ive seen all the shows and movies and Ive read most of the comics. I really like this iteration. Im not sure how the new tv show will turn out but im excited to see what comes with the sequels

One thing that I think they should do is have a villain theme for shredder like death in puss in boots and the prowler and spider man 2099’s theme

I trust them with shredder purely due to that scene with superfly and the turtles in that party place that makes him come off super intense , also the action scenes were great

Commenting before finishing the video because I'll totally forget, but I wanted to say as someone in martial arts, I recognized a lot of videos similar to what our taekwondo studios do for students and they release at home practice sessions, follow along instructionals, and full on step by step lessons. In the clips of the turtles and splinter watching it did show more than just movies, they were also watching different classes and lessons and from the looks of it multiple different martial arts as well. So I guess my point is they didn't do much just learn from watching movies and TV but actually followed lessons which go at least through the ATA where I train, you can start online with white belt basics all the way up through black belt training (can't achieve getting the belts but you can learn to do everything) Every time we test for our next belt, I jump on KZfaq and find out what my next form is going to be and try to get a jump start on learning it before I get into the studio 😅 I thought it was cool they learned that way honestly because that's what I do before I get into my actual class

I feel like what they’re going to do is built them up and then have them return to the regular old turtles in the the shadows same thing with Peter at the end of no way home how he’s now a street level hero and no one knows about him

This is a great movie as my family and I say it yesterday. We loved the brothers interaction and how the bad guys as well. Gecko was great and Splinter was amazing with the voice of Jackie Chan. We cannot wait for the TV show and then the sequel with the Shredder.

It does felt similar to Rise Of The TMNT where the Turtles did watch some kung fu movies particularly Lujitsu movies but there is a reason why because Splinter in that’s series IS Lou Jitsu who IS Hamato Yoshi but decided to leave the Hamato clan just overcome the loss of his mother

It would be cool to see them be the older more experienced more classic looking turtles later on and having that emotional connection with them. Its really cool

Hopefully we get casey jones in the next movie. And maybe he doesnt trust them at first but then goes on to vibe with Raph on the hockey (or another sports) team or sum and then becomes their ally. They were always an underated duo that i enjoyed since their personalities are very similar.

Chris I think for the villains, they’ll eventually end of having differences and split up again and go right back to their ways, and I mean since super fly was someone they grew up with they could end up feeling betrayed again and cause them to go back bad.

The fact they made April black is dope, and a lil more understandable considering we’re both OutKasts

Cris just saw it yesterday and loved it it had a lot of comedy that landed my mom was laughing as well.

I just watched it for my bday and it was amazing, the animation amazing, the story they changed some things but they are always going to do it differently so I'm fine with that, the movie to me was really good. I'm so excited for whats to come.

Honestly, as a Ninja Turtles fan this really knocks it out of the park for me. Ive been waiting for a new Ninja Turtles movie for a while now, but this may have been the best movie since the 1990 live action and the 2007 CGI movie

I was really happy everyone lived to see the end of the film. I got worried for a second there when supafly was smacking them around so badly. My biggest problem with the film was best shown in the first 5 minutes or so with those long awkward bits of dialogue explaining what was going on instead of showing it.

Utrom is the name of the species of aliens that krang is from. Not the name of the suit. Also originally in a test screening for a the movie. Shredder was going to be a mutant that cynthia has in a tube and would have had more of a monstrous look

I feel like it’s an interesting choice to emphasise the teenage aspect and lack the ninja aspect that direction could maybe just come off as generic high school movies but with the turtles doesn’t sound too exciting but who knows they could still do it well

tmnt 2 could even show us the brothers splitting up. a big argument could do down and they go their own ways and focus on themselves and maybe take a break from the ninja life, and work on their teenage aspect, like drivers ed, studying for school exams, etc.

I loved this movie. I took my daughter to an early movie and we both laughed so hard. Seth Rogan is giving Disney a run for their money 😂

Personally, I love this movie, not only does it have enough references to old TMNT content for the older fans, but it also has enough changes to where newer audiences can also enjoy it and could even be some peoples introduction to TMNT. While there are a few changes that I'm not that crazy about and a few jokes that didn't land for me, this is still a great movie and I highly recommend and if don't feel the same way about it then that's cool everyone has there own opinion wether you agree with them or not. 9/10 Also if your someone who's making a BIG deal about such little things like Aprils design or Splinter being "gay" then, I'm sorry, but I can neither agree nor understand.
