absolutely agree...and in her second dance she danced to "running up that hill" by sara james who was on AGT and is also just 13 years old...both young ladies 13 and neither won and should have. SMH....

my daughter has the same dance teacher as her and she says that she never stops training and is always trying to improve. She is insane!

She is only 13, but is aware of her body at least like someone in their twenties, so if anyone only sees what is not perfect in her performance then there are some serious problems with their hearts.

@@alex-fy4fethis is contemporary or lyrical not freestyle. In competitions, freestyle would be called open but that is usually just so you can do more acro tricks.

I think you're right and that's the problem. I don't think she comes from a wealthy family and to sustain a level of performance like this takes hard work and money and takes a heavy toll on the body. I am uncertain how her skills might be adapted to the Olympics but even then she can't participate until the age of 16. The path would have been so much easier had she won. This contest was literally a "joke" and this talented young lady will suffer from it. Shame on them.
