Earlier this month, Ohio teenagers Jordan Buckley and Jaden Churchheus pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter after admitting to throwing a log off a cliff in a state park that struck and killed photographer and mother of four, Victoria Schafer, down below. Now investigators have released videos of the interrogation of the boys that took place one month after the incident. The teens were sentenced to three years in a juvenile detention facility. #InsideEdition

@R2R nobody in this world has a perfect happy life , not even the rich. But what some of us dont have to do is pay for our actions accordingly. Hell most dont even admit they did wrong even if theres evidence to prove they did. I'll give the second kid this though ,he actually looked a little remorseful but the first kid acted like you think , it ain't a big deal and he should get a free pass on this. However if it were ME in this situation, I wouldve immediately turned myself in and asked for the maximum penalty. People need to realize there’s no such thing as a bad friend because if they’re bringing negativity in your life that’s not a friend even if you care for them, because now you’re physically,emotionally, and mentally drained from a toxic person you call a friend, when in reality they were just a really close acquaintance to you, they brung no value other than face value generosity.

If I was let's say with a friend and I accidentally killed someone with friend being there both us knew what happened but also failed to report it, both us will still be charged with manslaughter because both was conpliciate to the facts of the case of death. 2 to 3 yrs for manslaughter is very responsible sentence but they both should of been giving atleast 7 yrs each as both failed to report / admit there guilt instead they dragged case on.... With lengthy investigation. They should of came forward from beginning when they realised what they did either way if one is guilty of manslaughter the 2nd one still gets a sentence for hiding the truth it's called conplicate to a crime it carrys a sentence either way

Police don't need parental consent to question a minor. However just like an adult a minor can refuse to answer questions and ask for a lawyer or a Parent to be Present. Edit: Some states do have different laws though like California requires by Law anyone over 15 to consult a lawyer first.

there has to be some info missing, did they know someone was down there? did they push it off trying to hit her? It makes a difference, one is a tragic accident, the other is pretty malicious. I get the vibe this was an accident, so punishing the kids for something they didn't intentionally do is pretty severe. I feel for the lady and her family and I also feel for these young boys. tragic all around. As young boys, who hasn't done something similar? I can recall several times throwing cinderblocks and big rocks off of a bridge into a lack innocently just being bored, could imagine ruining my life because of that
@iwuvpiesgaming9164

yeah but it could of been malicious intent, I've seen many kid's younger then them kill there own parent's out of rage or simply wanted to kill someone for the thrill of it. But without more evidence I guess we will never know.
