I hate anxiety- when I was on a school trip, we were eating in this exotic restaurant with the owners entertaining us and one of them pulls me up to dance with a really cute boy I kind of had my eye on. Naturally, I completely panicked and ran away, left feeling horrible for the rest of the trip. Awkwardness for the win.

My first kiss (14) was when one of my closest friends kissed me abruptly in the middle of a conversation in a hallway... not even on the cheek. A full kiss. I should also mention that I considered him to be like a brother to me, he was my boyfriend’s best friend, and my best friend’s boyfriend. Even though I didn’t consent, I felt guilty and told my boyfriend immediately. He broke up with me and stayed friends with him. That’s when I learned that women almost always draw the short straw in these situations.

If my first kiss isn’t like that I quit. I know exactly where I want it to be as well. There is this hill with a field on top, and it looks out at a huge lake, with the city skyline behind it. It’s absolutely beautiful in the day and night, best yet, no one goes there. But honestly I don’t even know how dating or boyfriends happen, so I assume my first kiss won’t be for a while, especially with the pandemic.

@@mellowyellow5865 i also have a planned spot in my mind for when it happens lol, but idk if itll be too unexpected to have it happen there. theres this spot i love, i live in a small spread out town with a lot of woods so its very secluded and people dont really go up there. its on top of a hill, with a beautiful view of the hills and trees. itd be an amazing place for looking at the stars too, they show up well because we dont have much light pollution here. so yeah thats where id want it to happen lol

That's a first kiss for you that's how they go they're usually always embarrassing I had my first boyfriend at fourteen but didn't have my first kiss until I was sixteen with my boyfriend from grade ten he just pulled me in and kissed me I was so shocked I just stood there shocked and he pulled away and was like “That was awkward I'm sorry” and in my head I was like “Yes it was especially the apologizing like a thirteen year old in a 'relationship' just no” but out loud I said “No no don't worry it was fine”

I had my first kiss last year. We had icecream on our date and then when he leaned over to kiss, he totally sucked my lips, his tongue was all over my mouth and I couldn't even kiss him back. my entire mouth area was covered with cotton candy icecream flavored saliva. *gross* I pulled back and he thinks I don't like him or something but it's just that he's a really bad slobby kisser. Anyone has any tips on how I can subtly let him know? I did kiss him back when he gave me nice soft kisses and maybe he should get the hint.

Honestly just let him know!! “Hey I really like you but this kinda kiss is a bit much? Maybe we should take it a bit slower?” Using that you can kinda guide him better to make yourself feel more comfortable! I haven’t kissed many people but I do like to place a hand gently on their shoulder/ jaw it’s a easy way to guide them away from you when you get overwhelmed/ grossed out lmao

i had a FAT crush on a boy in high school. he liked really skinny girls. i was never really skinny, more on the thick side. we ditched our last period of school and went to a dark, vacant classroom. he sat me on a counter and leaned in for a kiss (mind you he is the cutest boy ever and i’m NOT his type at all) and i couldn’t believe it, so i pushed his face away and said “i’m sorry i can’t just kiss anyone”. he said damn okay. fast forward to the next year and he became my boyfriend of now 4 years 😅

My first kiss was so awkward because my BF liked to lovingly tease me about my desire to wait (I only want to ever kiss one man -my future husband) so I finally got get up with it and we were both laughing, and he said “it’s almost like you WANT this to happen.” I said “bet!” And proceeded to do the cringiest thing in the history of cringy moments. I did something that can only be described as face slamming, and came in WAY too fast. I remember thinking that kissing was weirder than I expected. I had no plans after that, so I kinda sat there still as a stone while he did all the work. Lucky, he thought my face slamming was hot and we both joke about it now. Moral of the story? Go with the flow. It will be embarrassing. It will be messy. And for god knows, brush your teeth!

My first kiss was bad. There was this one les girl who really liked me in 8th grade and kept asking me to date her. She would also touch me in ways I didn't want. I finally said yes. Same day my other friends were like "Oooh, you two should kiss!" Without hesitation she kisses me. I had my mouth shut and hers was wide open. I had saliva on my face and didn't like it. Next day she kissed me again while on top of me cuz my other friends wanted to see. She told everyone we were a thing and I was so embarrassed. My first kiss horror story: Ok, so, I’m a middle child. My brothers had best friends, and their best friends were also brothers. So, we would always go over to their house since our parents were also friends. My LITTLE brothers best friend was my age, and he had a crush on me. we were in FIRST GRADE. But, since we had older brothers and they were in 5th grade, we knew a bit about dating. He thought I liked him, and for a year he chased me around our play ground. One day, my family was at their house after school like always. Today, we had a barbecue, and I went up to his room to grab my book. He followed me up, told me my book was in his closet so I would follow him in there, then he full on French kissed me!!! Like with tongue! AND WE WERE IN FIRST GRADE.

My first kiss was kinda weird, but still nice. I remember I was (and still am) dating this guy, (keep in mind that this was a month ago, and that i'm literally 11) and I decided to kiss him. It was all sorta planned out, so he was ready. And I missed COMPLETELY. That mans got a fricken nose kiss. And he didn't seem to mind, and was very chill about it. I remember I was still embarrassed, so he just gave me a hug and said, : "I've done it too, don't worry." He's a nice guy!

I had my first kiss last month me and my bf have been dating since November 28th 2019 I’m 13 and me and my friends dared us to kiss but I decline because everyone in my class was there. So one weekend me and my friends went to McDonald’s and we went to a shop and we all bought sweets like mints and bubblegum, so we went to a park and we played truth or dare, of course everyone dared me and my bf to kiss, we look at eachother and he goes: “shall we just do it” and I say he’s so he leans in and kisses me, we didn’t use tongue but the kiss lasted for about 10 seconds, I had my arms round his shoulders and he had his hand behind my head. Afterwards we were blushing because it was nice and I was in shock that I had my first kiss and all my friends were like cheering us on and we were all happy for the rest of the day. Y'all - kissing and other physical expressions of emotion and connection are overrated. They can be so special, but don't waste it when you don't even know the person or yourself yet. I am 23 years old, have been in a 2 year relationship, and still haven't had my first kiss. And you know what? I'm 100% good and happy about that. Not saying you gotta wait that long, just think about it. Treasure yourself and what you have to offer.

It was really good while it lasted. And it wasn't like we never touched, but kisses on cheeks and holding hands was enough while we waited. I would hate to imagine a relationship entirely built on physical intimacy.
