Teeny Tiny Tutorials, Bind-offs: 3 Needle and Modified 3 Needle

Жыл бұрынA 3 needle bind-off is perfect for seaming shoulders (or other seams) where patterning needs to match up perfectly. I use the first (standard) method when the resulting chain will be hidden on the inside of a garment. I like to use the second method when I want a seam design element on the right side. It leaves a decorative chain that lays flat with no purl bumps visible to the side. Let me know what you think!

Romi, thanks so much for this alternative for this bind off! It came at the perfect time for me in making a double thick potholder. The standard bind off created a ridge, but this one creates a very flat seam that works perfectly if the potholder is to be used as a trivet. Thank you!

Love your ring where did you get it from! By the way, I have a trigger thumb and that looks like it would definitely help.

Thank you! I made this one, but you can actually find similar ones on Etsy. Just search for "ring brace." I also get trigger thumb now and again and that's exactly what this ring is for. It helps so much!
