Teeth Identification - Permanent Incisors:
Maxillary Central Incisor:
1. Its crown has maximum cervico-incisal dimension of all the incisors
2. It has maximum crown to root ratio
3. its root is conical and straight with a round apex
Maxillary Lateral Incisor:
1. Resembles Maxillary central incisor in crown outline
2. root is longe than central incisor and crown is short
3. the incisal edge slopes gingivally mesio-distally
Mandibular central incisor:
1. Most symmetricla tooth
2. smallest incisor
3. lingual surface is smoothest of all teeth
Mandibular Lateral incisor
1. almost resembles mandibular central incisor
2. tooth twisted distally on long axis, so some lingual surface visible from mesial and labial visible from distal
3. cingulum slightly distally displaced

I have a doubt... At 5:00 you said about how to determine right and left side...but is it compulsory we must decide it from lingual aspect??? Or can we also decide from labial aspect???

I have a wobbly one and it hurts so bad it’s impossible to eat because if I chew on the other side, the tooth will hit the bottom tooth because it’s hanging… I had another wobbly tooth two weeks ago, I just want to give my tongue a break…

Hi, the permanent upper central incisors usually erupt around 7 - 8 years of age, if your child is still missing those teeth, thn you must visit a local dentist.. they can help you with the future course... All the best👍
