It's true my phone has fallen about 3-4 times inside water and works perfectly fine and I have used it under the rain too and nothing happened, the only problem I had was that the speaker had a problem but after some time it became normal again ☺️ so I still recommend redmi ❤

I don't think so it is water resistant or not, but the mediatek chipset is quite impressive with upscaled performance.

I was so afraid when my phone accidentally dropped into the water closest while using it, I thought my phone will get damaged by the water and was really shocked why it still working perfectly fine so I went online to know the reason not untill I came across this video. The redmi 12C does have an IP certification, defined by xiaomi itself. On the official website it doesn't say so, but it does say so on the official website of the POCO C55 (which is the same phone) and also in the manual of the device

Hi I fell in a pool when this phone was in my pocket and I am sorry to disappoint you guys it's not water resistant as you think because after 5 min it not turn on and when I open the back cover the water was inside it and I forced to change the screen.

I believed this, and now my phone is broken. Water goes in at the headphone jack, speaker, sim card tray. Wasn't even underwater. I was just being shot with water guns, and having buckets dumped on me. My phone never took a direct hit. It was the Thai new year, and I wanted to make some videos. Xiamo themselves say the phone is water resistant, and can withstand high jet pressure water. BULLSHIT.
