Thank you very much! I get that comment a lot, people thinking it's computer generated because of it's clarity. I probably did too much color grading, adding too much contrast and saturation. It was captures with a Phantom 4 Pro, which has an amazing camera with a 1" sensor.

Jeff Jones, it's green like that for about a month in the spring. The rest of the year it's brown, so I time my trips there to fly the loop in April.

Thanks Mark. I can see you're a rail fan like me. I enjoy visiting this engineering marvel annually, usually in April when it's green. It's a fun day.

I live three hours from there but don't get up to the loop too much anymore. I prefer to watch quality videos like yours in the comfort of my home. Thank you. Keep posting.

If you do stop by someday, look for the monument noting the National Historical Civil Engineering Landmark along the country road (Woodford-Tehachapi Rd) on the southeast side of the loop. From that monument, go East about 500' where you'll find a dirt road with a chain gate. You can part at that gate in the dirt. Walk north on that dirt road to get the best view of the trains. Go all the way to the end to the top of the hill (1/4mi hike) for an epic view of the tracks. From there you can see up and down the valley with about 5 miles of track visible. This is where I fly the drone from.
