I’m so glad you guys finally started putting English subtitles! This channel is a real gem for information on the IJN

Thank you. Translation is costing me a lot of money, but I'll do my best! The translation is by human and AI, so it's not perfect, but thank you.

@@teikoku_RI noticed it not the best, I will say one thing I recognize was it claiming Enterprise was sunk. Given it saids this right after saying about the sinking of Hornet I assume this was a mistake confusing the two

@@VirgoShelter They're keeping up with tradition. Enterprise was reported sunk atleast 5 times during the war. Turning her into the ghost ship haunting the IJN. Now she is reported as sunk again.

5:18 If the channel is such a "gem" for information, how did they get the invasion force wrong, saying it was the Army, when it was the Marines?
@shootfirst20972 ай бұрын
@@teikoku_R 5:18 It wasn't the Army that invaded, it was the Marines, 1st Division.
I love your videos, this is wonderful and it's very good to see things from the Japanese side. ♥

とても見応えある動画でした! そして、さりげなくおまんじゅうの声が入っているのも良かったです!

Thx a lot for subtitles. Now i can understand at least in general. And thx for story format about ijn ships. It would be cool to do the same with other ships, about Amatsukaze, Yukikaze, Fubuki etc.
finally ayanami gets a video of her own! also love the english subtitles :D

An interesting account! Well done. It looks consistent with the Wikipedia article on Ayanami, accept that it mentioned the contribution by other Japanese warships in sinking the American destroyers. It also mentioned that the wreck of Ayanami has been located. I was glad to read about saving the Dutch sailors (I am Dutch). My only concern was the heroic music and the whiff of nationalism at the end.
The depiction of the battle is very good, and gives insight into the Third Solomon Sea battle from the IJN perspective especially from the IJN Ayanami crew. The map depiction reminds me of old Toho war movies. I am very happy that Miyama-san added Bahasa Indonesia as a subtitle. Terimakasih banyak 🎉
