As an Albertan that episode blew my fuckin mind, they actually got buildings from Edmonton and the city/surrounding terrain on point, I cracked the biggest smile during the battle at Edmonton, my ex gf is a cop there, we joked about how she'd have been so screwed against barbatos hahah

Used this track for my dnd campaign party was in combat and had partial rp sequences during it and let's just say my half demon Barbarian tool some inspiration from barbatos and wrecked up some enemies to make a path to stop some old hag from overthrowing nice old man and killing him

Man, Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will always hold a special place in my heart. I've haven't fallen in love with an Anime and it's characters in a very long time, but Gundam: IBO really rekindled that experience for me

I think mikazuki is the only gundam protagonist to fight exclusively for the sake of other people. Makes it much more ironic that people tried to paint him as a sociopath.

Stop calling Mikazuki a psychopath. He is child soldier from a very harsh bringing just like the rest of his brother-in-arms. If you were in shoes how would you respond to the situations that he had to undergo in order to ensure the survival of his family and allies? He is facing corrupt government officials, criminal organizations, and soldiers (despite some being children) who will not hesitate kill. In the world he lives in, it is killed or be killed. Even if you don’t mean them any harm; even if you thought you were all on the same side. Letting empathy and trust to your enemies blind you could spell out your death.

Elom Essamaa-Ayi lol...the way Mikazuki was depicted in the anime is literally the definition of a psychopath. sb. who cannot feel emotions. the killing has little to do with my comment him being psychopathic, simply watvh the anime again or just look at the way his view about love and children.

Our Hero is fighting against the Villain when he is suddenly knocked onto his back, his shield is cracked and his sword is broken in-half and the Villain is proclaiming that The Hero has lost everything, and when he finishes killing The Hero, nobody will survive. Then The Hero remembers the people that he met and the friends he promised and the sort of person he once was long ago before his journey began. With determination in his eyes, The Hero grabs his broken hilt, clutches the cracked shield, and stands at the ready. The Hero knows that he isn't stronger than the Villain, but he is faster and smarter than him. He doesn't need to fight him on the Villains' terms, he will do this his own way. Weaving between the Villains powerful yet slow attacks and using his agility to his advantage to force the Villain into a situation that plays directly into The Heroes' own strengths, at which he plunges the broken half of his sword into the Villains' chest. Basically, this song *EPITOMIZES* the nature of _"The Heroic Second-Wind"_

Great concept. Amazing got tier soundtrack that outclassed all other Gundam anime. But a shit protagonist that was almost a rip off of all the shotty self insert ocs we made when we were 12 year old edge lords
