Tekken 7 (鉄拳7) is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the seventh main and ninth overall installment in the Tekken series. Tekken 7 was released to arcades in March 2015. An updated arcade version, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, was released in July 2016, and features expanded content including new stages, costumes, items and characters. The home versions released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in June 2017 were based on Fated Retribution.[5]
Set shortly after the events of Tekken 6, the plot focuses on the events leading up to the final battle between martial artist Heihachi Mishima and his son, Kazuya. Tekken 7 introduces several new elements to the fighting system such as Rage Arts and the Power Crush mechanic, making the game more beginner friendly than previous iterations in the series. Tekken 7 was a critical and commercial success, selling over 10 million copies as of December 2022. A sequel, Tekken 8, is in development.

Heihachai's battle agianst Akumah and Kazuya was epic and made tekkan what it is today.its sad akumah wasnt seen in tekkan 8 😔

Tekken 8 really could use some good old fashion ryona...not to mention 18th letter 1st letter 16th letter 5th letter too! Let's see: Kuma the bear gripping Nina's stomach, squeezing her face, and biting her to tons of blood...in front of her son! Armor King choking the blood out of Anna while having her pinned to the ground! Bob on the ground twisting Lili's arm until it breaks, then turns her around squeezes her other arm until it snaps too, leaving Lili "armless"! Yoshimitsu picking up Josie, and starts stabbing her eyes out with his sword...S-L-O-W-L-Y! Roger and Alex 18th letter 1st letter 16th letter 5th letter 19th letter Xiaoyu, Asuka, and especially Christie!

You know, something really does tell me realistically that The Journalist from Tekken 7 is actually gonna make his return in Tekken 8. And it makes sense, because 1. This whole game not only revolves around Heihachi and Akuma, but even the Journalist as well, and 2. He already lost his wife and son, lost his home, has nowhere to go other than staying with the Rebellion Gang, and still wants to take revenge on Jin for what he has done. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even be suprised at all if he actually becomes a Newcomer in Tekken 8, because of how important he really is to the story. The Journalist basically has a Character Arc, based around his origins alone, so It's definitely something that Namco would really do for sure. And as for Akuma? There's no way that he's going to be gone in Tekken 8. At the special chapter ending, we now know that Kazuya is alive. However, we don't know exactly what happened to Akuma after the battle. So my guess is that he probably left to continue his training, and he'll eventually come back in the story mode to get his revenge on Kazuya. After all, he does have a final task to complete on behalf of Kazumi's request after she saved him, and one of them being to kill her son. So either way, he's still not done.
