Because she's hard to play with. She's one of those trap setters like Lee, but with less room for error and stance changes don't make any sense; Landing with back to opponent after half the counters in her moveset. Should never happen.

Hey everyone ! As always I hope you will enjoy / you have enjoyed this breakdown, and my jokes :3 Especially the combo section that I had to mostly redo, and which is probably even better than the Claudio one (In its own logic) As I know a lot of you will ask :3 The next characters will be Shaheen and then Yoshimitsu, normally in that order ;) As always, if you have feedbacks, please answer me here ;) (Even though, as you guys know, I'm reading all the comments and aswering to a majority of them) Also A huge shout out to Nils, our audio engineer ! Yoshimitsu has been my favorite character since my first tekken game back in tekken 3. I CANT WAIT for you guys to make that happen it’s been impossible to find a good tutorial for him. Her rolldash and crouchstep are two different stances. You cant do her hellsweep from rolldash, but you can from crouchstep for example.

Really nicely made videos, I love them. The pacing feels comfortable, lots of info, and it makes each character look fun to use, even if I previously didn't think they were. Keep them coming! Even though the next few characters have been planned out, I'd just like to ask where Feng, Devil Jin, Leo and Alisa are on the schedule. Looking forward to the Shaheen/Yoshi stuff.

For wall combos, you can always put a BT 3+4 before the u,f 3+4,4,2. You just have to do manual transition (b 3+4) or end you combo with 4,1 instead of f,f4, which will put you automatically in BT. Thx for the video !

Awesome, video! I would have liked to see you guys explore her crouch-dash/cancel mixups in this video. Her crouch-dash mixups are insane as she can crouch-dash into while rising moves and into some of here full crouch moves; crouch-dash into full crouch 3 is exceptionally good as is minimizes her hurtbox. What's even color is that she can crouch-dash into HAZ and even crouch-dash cancel into it.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. In your video, she does that after the extra input you give her, and you can clearly see that in the 'hiccup' and additional animation she does to access her while rising moveset. What I meant is that she can do that instantly from her crouch-dash. And she can also cancel her crouch-dash into HAZ. All this without the extra input, animation and additional time to access those moves.

Bt 1+2 gaurantee only gaurantee after 3~4 on opponent with face up feet toward (but if the opponent input u to stand gaurd after the spike by 3~4, bt1+2 will be blocked, well that give the oki option to go for the low or mid depend on how you read your opponent), if the starter of the combo is qcf2 it will give the position as face up head toward this will not gaurantee bt1+2 except the opponent attempts to move even slightly. B3 also gaurantee follow up after bt1+2 as the move giving ground spike and allow more mix up. Qcf allow all ub, db, df, and uf move to be input after. FC df,d,df or d,df,d,df (aka. Snake dash) can be trnstion into qcf moves and options by input F after the last df.

Very awesome video, had fun watching. You have good editing skills and character knowledge! However, you did miss some points on her wall combos. If you splat them high enough, you can go back turned and do BT3+4 into her U/f3+4 string ender this adds a massive amount of damage to her combo!.In your video you only mentioned it after she screws an opponent while up against the wall, but it is not restricted to only that. You can usually do a high wall splat by altering the end of the combo with a 4,1 after the final ff3, replacing the final ff3 with ff4, or in season 3 with qcf1,2 (with choice depending on distance).

For insane wall carry from ff3, WS1 and CH WS2, use: ff3 > 4,1 > BT 2 > BT f+2,4,2 > ender depending on distance to the wall (highest damage if f,F+3 > ff4).

For wall combo, use BT 3+4 > u/f+3+4,4,2 which gives 40 damage from wallsplat, 34 damage after wallcarry. For better oki wall combo, use BT b+2,3 > b+1,d+3 for 35 damage from wallsplat, and 28 damage after a wallcarry.

Ayy, not my first tekken but first tekken game where im fully committed to get better. First main was Steve and now am looking at MRaven cuz she seems badass to play.

She should be getting more tournament play.. Very slept on character. A good raven would wipe the floor with everybody on this roster!! Im about to pick back up on raven.. Thanks for this👍

i think the safest gameplay of raven is use your long range pokes, after that you close the gap with crouch dash and apply crouch dash mix up or fish counter hits with iws2

Thx for the guide, really helpful! I'm just wondering that you didn't mention 4,1 as a wall carry tool since it gvies you w! BT 3+4 before your wall ender for big damage.

For the qcf+2 mixup, you can sidewalk the whole mixup left. And lows aren't a flaw, as she has great low pokes.

You are right, she does have several strong chipping lows like d+3. I think what we should have made clearer is that she has either powerful tripping lows which are a massive commitment, or chipping lows which are relatively safe but with little reward. There's nothing in between with say CH properties. The negative on "lows" should have probably been rephrased as "commitment" as many of her key moves are unsafe and need to be mixed up effectively.
