You talked about types of parries but I'd categorize them further into "levels". Level 1: Only certain limbs like Hei Raijin stance working on only the punches. Level 2: Punches & Kicks. Level 3: Everything, like elbows, knees, shoulders, headbutts, weapons (Jin, Geese, Leroy parry)

Anna can parry some shoulder attacks of Paul, King and AK. Since Nina, Anna and Paul are legacy characters, they can parry Paul-like ff4 moves, df3+4 of King, unblockables of Jin and Kazuya and many other moves of characters they met in first trilogy.

If I'm not mistaken, some reversal parries' damage are dependant on the attack used. If the opponent uses a jab they will deal like 30-35 damage, but if it is for example Jack's gigaton punch then it will deal a lot more damage.

I think you missed an evading one for Xiaoyu. It's where she parries punches and side switches with opponent with them backturned for some advantage.

I kind of wish that modern Tekken players didn't combine reversals and parries so often, they're different things. Otherwise an informative video.

To people who say "just learn the matchup" this entire video is why you can't learn the matchup. In reality you want to learn the necessary matchups, mainly for the top 15 best characters, i.e king, Jin, armor king is debatable, heihachi, etc. Learning the Gigas matchup is just not important at all, nor kuma or panda or even nowadays, fahkumram. Btw Jin is OP and as someone who mains him I genuinely felt bad playing such a broken character that I swapped to Heihachi who is the best Mishima. He's the most practical, Kazuya is only good for his vortex, oki, and theoretical damage. Marduk has better vortex, king and Marduk have better oki, and akuma is just steroids but a character. Heihachi does a lot of damage with still a shit ton of execution but you feel much more rewarded because Heihachi is actually very good. F4, df full crouch 4, raijen stance, electric, ff3, ff2, db2, hellsweep, f3, raijen1, 112, B1 2, b32, dick jab, df1, df11, B1+2, 1+2, 1 b2 1+2 (rage drive) 1 b2 poking tool, etc. Very good character. Although if we talk about half Mishima's too, Jin is the best in the game.
