​@@TK_TheFURY It was ganryu's attack at 0:40 so I assumed that elbows would be grouped with that. Maybe it's because that attack puts ganryu in a grounded state? It's weird also that eliza super can be parried but not raging storm

@@LeiChaobruh leroy actually did parry ganruys low early in s4. I tested all lows and I found that there are 2 types. Temporary and permanent. Permanent ones parry most if not all low but are weak to grabs because they are left standing(lei/negan/Leroy). Temporary stances do not parry weapons or knees but they have either high evasion or a throw parry(anna/ armorking/jun)

I don't get why ppl complain abt Leroy parry but not asuka

Asuka parry can be dealt with elbows, knees and throws(if they are not good at throwbreaks). On top of that you can chicken it with timing front+ki charge. It is easier to deal with atleast for me. Her other parries need you to predict kicks or punches(though good against Steve or Hwoarang). Leroy though even parries those knees and elbows(Jin can too but timing is stricter, so it's fair) , though throws work against one's bad at breaking them. Anyways if the Leroy is good at breaking throws and blocking/counter hitting (with orbital) lows, it is a frustrating matchup. If they can steal turn at minus frames and all that. Plus other things he has on top of that parry. His parry can be less toxic if you reduce parriable moves or reduce it's active frames. Or if he can't break throws out of his parries.

All of them are super obnoxious, but I'd argue that Jin, due to his recovery, and Leroy, due to its ease of use, are more annoying than the others. If a char can parry and punish Law's frying pan, he's automatically going into "cheap tier" for me.

Both divekicks can be parried, normal and ex. Simple divekick was reversed using db1+2 not parry. Which didn't work.

Cause parry isnt a block, is a desviation of the hit.

Cause parrying is redirection rather than raising your guard to tank a hit

Because parrying isn't the same as blocking, in any sense

Because you can't block it. A parry isn't a block, it's either dodging the move, or reversing the move to the opponent.
