someone pointed out that Tekken 8 Bryan looks like Nero from DMC on meth and now I can't unsee it

I wish Bryan’s design reflected more of a withering cyborg like in T7. It felt like an evolution from his more human designs in previous Tekkens. I’m hoping they at least add some customization options for that.

I think for his rage art, with all those shotgun shells on his arm, they could have utilized that to make it be like a gunshot with that punch. His mach punch and then shotgun shells shoot after the impact or something crazy like that. Still, he looks great though

The render looks great, the purpose was to capture how crazy and psycho he is and they nailed it

I like to imagine that when Bryan gets his taunt buff going, the heat generated from his cyborg body builds up so much in his right arm when he punches you that it ignites the shotgun shells strapped to his arm, making him literally punch you with a shotgun blast

i think they played it safe with his outfit, to show during certain moves his upper body is glowing red trying to show his system is overheating i guess? since there is also smoke on some moves, in his Heat smash move you can see it happen

Noone notice how his skin turns red when doing powered up attacks?

I’m thinking that power up taunt think might be a Ki Charge type thing, kinda like what Leo can do if you hold the button. The Jack is crouching when getting hit by that elbow, he’s fully crouching which is usually in indication that a string landed on counter hit

I dont use Bryan at all but definitely one of my fav characters to fight against. One of my fav char designs in Tekken as well.

I’m pretty sure that’s suppose to the ash when you fire a bullet. So kinda like an ignition of a flint Locke pistol in arms are his power ups. Super smart

His RA resembles the TTT1 bowling throw he had that eye with which he could track the bowling pin and it made it easier to hit the pin

It's only just occured to me 7 months later after learning more about the character, that they show off taunt into heat engager at the wall. Since the scaling on taunt is so heavy now, I wonder if that's going to be the idea use for it. Taunt, heat engager at the wall, recover a bunch of health and then do a ton of damage with snake eyes and wall combos.

Bryan is like a cyborg, right? He used to be human and now he's a bit biomechanical. I think his design should probably have some nods to Terminator (even though Terminator is a literal robot, not a cyborg I believe).

Fun fact: You can make Bryan's Taunt track if you quickly tap it 3 times ... And I think this should be same for T8 Also speaking of costume, I hope they give us better customisations in T8

Im not the biggest bryan fan but I will say he looks fucking amazing. His moveset is great and perhaps the only one which feels like "tekken" from looks at least and hands down for me best Rage art. They didnt risk a lot with the look but I dont mind cause again looks fucking sick af

He still does say "KAAAH" when doing JU, just not with the same clarity as before. Also, they added the "MmmmhhhyyYYESSS" to actual gameplay (as can be heard on the last hit in the 6:50 sequence). This sound was absent in T7 except for the arcade version of his rage art. I actually prefer this Bryan, but I do hope you can add cybernetics with customization.

The new taunt animation is basically the same as in T7 after his rage drive and I don't think you will be able to do it manually, just like Claudio.

I agree! Tekken 7 Bryan looks way better. They should have given him a brand new look for Tekken 8. I am also not impressed by his rage art and I think it should have been more brutal to represent his character. Just like his victory animation when he is beating down his opponent while on top of them, his rage art for Tekken 8 should have been something along the lines of that type of brutality. His rage art could have also been more cinematic
