It's for roll teching and unscaled damage of the stealth step 2, just for overall better damage accumulation.

Also, I am trying this combo out in practice mode, and looks like the stealth step 2 at the end of your combos doesn't hit. But in your video it looks like it hits every single time. Is it because of how they're getting up?

@YoshiExcel yeah it's a recovery thing for the Opponent. The training dummy typically blocks it, but it's actual guaranteed damage if your opponent rolls. It's pretty dope.

I appreciate it man! And no offense taken at all! Yeah man mentality is a huge thing in Tekken. Being calm, and just having a positive outlook will really help you big time. There's a ton of crazy characters in Tekken and trust me it can be a frustrating experience. One of the biggest things is learn from each loss. When you lose you learn a lot. Also try to get in a good groove and stare of mind. One of the things I do is that I love Tekken music. So in the jukebox I'll set my favorite tracks to all stages and when I'm in a match I just vibe to the music. Also for the combo optimization, I try to do more set up based things with Shaheen to help give me more momentum and be as relenting as possible. With Shaheen it's all about momentum. So movement, positional awareness, spacing, is such a crucial aspect. Majority of the time that's why you will see me end combos with f3+4 just to give me better leverage for if my opponent wakes up with anything. It takes a lot of time man, so don't beat yourself up! You got this!

@@YT-FableKnight Yeah i completely get it, my wording was def off but im stealing that oki tech for sure haha! QQ, how do you feel abt switching characters and such? I started the game w shaheen and im loving it. His gameplan is simple, hes strong and I love the char and the FC mix. I've also found a liking to nina tho because I do like being very aggressive and this game def aids in that. I feel like itd take me a while to learn and get used to nina tho so im not sure if I should just climb w shaheen and get the fundementals down or take a break to learn nina. @@basil1596 I would say to use a character you find the most fun and that u get enjoyment out them. You could always use both ultimately, however I would always recommend sticking with one so that you don't confuse yourself for buttons and gameplan. It can be super overwhelming going between multiple characters especially if you are trying to decide a main ultimately. Focusing on one can help really solidify what kind of archetype of character you really resonate with as well. You might find Nina is your character over Shaheen due to her aggressive nature. Or vice versa.

Optimization is very subjective thing sometimes. This is very dependent on your character. The coolest thing in tekken is that u have the choice to either use full blown punish with the most technical and optimized inputs. Or you use something that is consistent and that might lead to more momentum.

@@YT-FableKnight I agree and that's why I said it was mostly a nitpick by me since my goal when I go for punishes/damage is to make it hurt while also having routes that lead to setplay. It wasn't just combos for me, but I dont want to seem like I'm criticizing you when it's just a simple nitpick and I apologize if it seemed that way! I did like the setup of f3+4 into ss2 that led to mix!

I get what you’re saying but honestly this guy loves oki and just being able to mix his opponents on wake-up, that’s why some combos seem not optimized

That's neutral. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My goal was to launch Leo if they did a move to move forward. Most professional players do this as well. Your just gauging to see what your opponent does. 😂
