its fake pressure, u can still hit highs. Just throw a launcher out. U wont be seeing any kings use this untill blue rank anyway. I prefer the old one cuz he could duck highs. This is a nerf

I'd still call it decent pressure because the grabs that come out of this track and his 1+2 has a nasty CH launch But yeah it's nowhere near as good as a true Mishima dash

@@giovannyramos8747 its bc king's wave dash before would put you in crouching status so you couldn't get hit by highs, but after last patch they changed it by making it way easier but removing the crouch status so you can be hit by highs now.

Kingsman, I made a new account to promote King again. I managed to advance from Beginner to Tekken King in 13 hours, King is still King 😂

@@adventuretimewithjoe I have two accounts. In the first account I was already in Tekken King, yesterday I made another one from absolutely 0 to start again from Beginner in ranked and today I am in Tekken King too in my second account. You can see the evidence in the community tab on my profile

@@adventuretimewithjoe From the blue ranks onwards, defense is key to promotion. I recommend that you use the generic low jab and db 1+2 to win the opponent's turn and jaguar step to control the distance. Those three elements are very important. So I'm sure you'll make it to Tekken King

Im down for almost all the charges. I suck at mishima wave dash but i can probably learn with practice. The one change im pissed about is MB now being -6 ON HIT! Why am i minus for landing a throw?! Shits dumb as hell and i hope that one nerf gets reverted Edit: pointless to use mb over another throw unless you have a floor break

honestly i dont understand the point of this. king doesnt really have moves or mixups that benefit from wavedashing, especially since his crouch grabs are slow. it doesnt fit his playstyle at all either and now he can't do crouch throws against highs. if he had any high crushing moves from crouch dash then it would be a different story. not to mention the impact against high level king players that could actually wave dash the hard way.

Legit this mans is actually busted now lol. Don't care if you cam jab him out of it. CD cancels for ws moves or anyother are 10x easier than the mishimas traditional ws cancel i.e. kazuya ws 1+2. King gets easy mode access. And because of the wavu nonesense being easier, db1+2 just becomes a complete guessing game if he armors through anything lmao.

nah, this is a nerf. Like 5% of Kings can use this effectively. Prefer the old dash w crouching status. Does not fit kings playstlye imo

@lil_savagemlg2434 agree it's not very kinglike. However, the potential is far higher now for kings pressure. And overall it's made high level execution far more consistent. To the average player, its nothing. To the pros, this will be game changing. I mean wtf is a giant swing landing from 5.0 distance away... Also note that because of this change, the tracking nerfs for grabs etc are far less severe, as he can easily realign and grab you anyway. This was alway possible with old CD but hard to be consistent. Now anyone can make it consistent. So those tracking nerfs are kind of redundant now for king - and thats who it was intended for from the beginning lmao.
