@bobmishima3295 in tekken 8 tournaments players don't use Kazuya. How much proof you guys need to recognize that he needs buffs to be more competitive. Forget TMM he is not an elite pro player that have won tournaments in this game

The nerf doesn't allow her to finish the move on whiff. They forgot to give it recovery frames tho so she recovers as soon as she lands from the whiff 😂

25:05 look at azucena chip damage she did compared to when kazuya got his little combo off. This is the problem with kazuya but people that would never even try to play kazuya as their main will tell you “he’s good, you just suck” I hate how the community will tell you bs to make everyone think he’s fine. If everyone was on the same level fine, but we got Kings,Dragunovs, Azucena, Devils Jins going crazy with the bs but people will tell you “kazuyas good you just suck” ridiculous, that’s how my games always go with kazuya, just when I’m close I get pressured so bad I can’t do nothing, and with kazuyas trash pokes and almost all his moves that go overhead when someone throws their own move you just can’t get out of pressure.

Keisuke is one of the few high rank kaz that uses his heat smash, I've never seen tmm use it at high ranks lol

Cause it’s in theory better to maximize time in heat. Heat smash does like 10 more damage than regular hellsweep, whereas ff2 gets its damage doubled in heat. So the optimal strat seems to be to stay in heat and exploit that, either by punishing ducking or making them scared to duck hellsweep (which you don’t want to spend heat on either unless it floor breaks or kills)

Yea he was around in T7 just didn’t travel as much. We also thankfully have replay channels for the top ranked players. But he travelled to last years Evo and gave Arslan a tough game

He only travelled once to Evo iirc, 2-0'd NeneTheDragon and lost to Book's Akuma and Arslan Ash, placing around 17th. He's a total beast in the Japanese scene though. One early highlight of his is beating Knee and LowHigh back to back at MASTERCUP 2017 at a young age, helping eliminate Knee's from the tournament.
